Without a reliable GPS some could find it different to get to but instructions are on the website if needed, which is extremely helpful. The road to the house take you by the animals of the farm. The house itself is beautifully decorated and being greeted at the door by Rita the cat was awesome. She saw us pulling in and hurried over to get us and welcome us in. We arrived later than our check in time so we did the self check in which is very easy and hassle-free. We read the binder given to us with the self check in instructions and the instructions to our rooms. Breakfast was excellent! Eating with that wonderful view was very atmospheric. Overall it was a wonderful stay, our hosts were welcoming and hospitable. If we are in the area again, we know where we'll be staying.

What a lovely experience for a two night stay! Rita, the local kitty, greeted us upon check in and gave us a goodbye on check out. Clean and quiet room, breakfast was expert and tasty, and overall Ana and Emily run a beautiful space. If you’re staying in the area to see house on the rock or frank Lloyd wright then this space fits the puzzle piece. Thank you!

I dream of an eclectic space like this in the middle of nature. So glad Ana and Emily dedicate themselves to hosting this BnB. I was obsessed with the miso caramel they served with pancakes and they sent me home with some! I can’t wait to go back.

Quaint, cozy, peaceful. Eclectically off the beaten path, which is delightful. The breakfasts were scrumptious! Very clean and comfortable. And the owners had all kinds of nice little touches to make our stay pleasant. Pretty antique dishes, trays for our coffee, books to read, soaps..... just nice little extras that made it feel special. Thanks Ana-Marie and Emily for sharing your lovely space with us.

If you're wondering whether you're in the right place, you are. A long driveway that leads you past farm friends to a level spot on the hill where there's a ship of a house. Inside are wonders everywhere, excellent books, a spectacular view, and always the sound of birds. I can't think of a more magical place tucked in a hillside in the middle of a lush, green world. Thank you, Ana and Emily and the whole farm for making us feel so chill.

The house is awesome, but difficult to get to. The view is awesome, but mostly obscured by trees. The rooms are nice with many thoughtful amenities, but the beds could be better. The overall experience would be great in warmer weather when you could sit outside on the porch and enjoy it. The breakfast was very good, but didn't include any protein. Would I stay there again? Yes.

We had the best time at the Birdhouse Inn. Emily and Ana were so welcoming (and Rita the cat) and we had a great time on the property- completely enveloped in nature. The food was AMAZING and I very much look forward to visiting again. Everything was perfect, the rooms and bathroom were clean, the whole house was full of things to look at, the animals were so sweet and we even had a nice time conversing with the other guests over breakfast! I cant wait to visit again 🙂

We had a wonderful stay here! The views are amazing! How many places can you stay that you get to get up close and personal with chickens and pigs! You are greeted by a friendly tour guide (the cat) and shows you the way to the house. They have plenty of games, good conversation, and fantastic hospitality. Do not leave before breakfast, for you would miss out on an almost 100% farm to table breakfast and i promise you haven't had breakfast until you had a farm to table breakfast! Great stay, great sleep, great breakfast! If you are in the area and want a cozy place to spend the night The Birdhouse inn will welcome you!
