Disclaimer: I’m not vegan. But this place is.
Service was very good! The food however looked like I could buy it in any frozen food section at the grocery store. The pretzels and curly fries weren’t half bad! No tea no shade, however if you’re wondering, this place Is 100% vegan the signage just doesn’t show you.

I think the first highlight of this place is that they honored the restaurant before and built upon it. Not only is that a great business practice, but it's also sustainable and very on brand!

The vibe was genuine and my daughter and I LOVED the music they had playing. There's information for community events at the entrance.

We were greeted with kindness and took our seats, they provided my daughter with coloring crayons and a cute menu to color!

The food was RIDICULOUSLY delicious and flavorful. The staff was knowledgeable about my daughter's condition and explained any potential food cross contamination.

My daughter has not stopped talking about going back!

If you're looking for delicious vegan bar food, this is your destination. As a long-time vegan, I appreciate all the Plant-Based pride. You would have to be a MORON to miss all the signage haha. I love this place! Atmosphere, food and people are great! Get the steak sandwich. It's amazing!

Amazing food at an unexpected place.

My partner and I walked in later than ideal, yet the kitchen and the server were accommodating and really, really friendly.

The chicken sandwich with Buffalo and ranch was absolutely amazing - the veggies were fresh, the batter was crisp and crunchy, and the ranch was delicious. The buns are toasted and also so soft and fluffy. We also had the Western, which really, REALLY hit the spot. The 'bacon' was crispy and the barbeque sauce was awesome.

The food was filling and way better than other places at similar price points. If you're in the mood for some unreal vegan greasy-spoon food, look no further. The drive up from Seattle is so worth it.

Delicious food, friendly service and a nice dark environment. What more could you ask for? I bought the classic burger with curly fries. This was about $13 which felt like the perfect price. They also had some more exotic burger and sandwich choices which I will be back to try.
Thank you bayside cafe for a nice experience.

Gotta pay closer attention before I pick a place to eat at next. Didn’t realize it was vegan until we sat down and got the menus. Figured we would give it a try anyways. Pics looked good online and it was 4.8 stars. How bad could it be?
Love the vibe. My kiddos loved the decor and music but that’s about all we liked really. Fried pickles and French fries were good. But the worst thing I think I’ve ever ate in my life was the “feta” “burger”. Took one bite and had to force myself to swallow before I puked. Husband laughed at me until he tried it too. Same feelings. Husband tofu yakisoba wasn’t the worst thing but also not very appetizing. Kiddo got the “chicken” sandwich and had one bite before not touching it again. We just ate fries and called it good. Pretty expensive mistake on my part.
Really wanted to like it as I think vegan diets are healthier? But if this is what yall eat, I applaud you for sticking it out. So highly rated and this is what the hype is? Stay strong vegans. Fingers crossed food gets better for yall as time goes on. My family and I can’t.
Again, loved the vibe and cocktails sounded nice but wasn’t a fan of the food. Sorry

Bayside Cafe is one of my absolute favorites! Not only are the owners and staff so kind and caring, the food quality, menu specials, and comfort food is always on point! I've taken many non-vegan friends here and they always have a positive experience.

I also had my wedding dress rehearsal here over the summer and it was fabulous! We got to reserve the entire lounge area to ourselves and we coordinated with Jasper to have special appetizers for our group, along with a 3 menu options we selected for our guests to choose from. They were so wonderful to work with, giving us a tasting beforehand and offering menu specials from the past that aren't on their regular menu! All of our guests (all non-vegan except me) loved the food and had nothing but amazing things to say! From the mac salad to fried mushrooms to the burger options, everything was an absolute hit! We even got our own bartender for our group who was very attentive and got everyone's needs met. Having the lounge space to ourselves struck the balance of an intimate setting with our closest friends and family, but also offered plenty of space for people to spread out and mingle. Most other places just offer one small banquet room with a large table, so you can't really mingle or talk to everyone, which is one of the reasons we opted for Bayside for this occasion.

I highly recommend Bayside, and definitely consider hosting an event there. They are so great to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to have another event there in the future!

Food was excellent, one of the best vegan spots you're going to find just about anywhere , the music is soul stirring, the vanilla cream is crack
