Beautiful event venue, attended wedding of my niece and found The Barn to be just amazing! Conveniently located on the west end of Hoover just south of Birmingham, easy access, great parking and perfectly clean. I have no idea of the budget (likely $$$$) but would definitely recommend for an upscale experience!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening The Barn at Shady Lane! It truly is a ministry to those that want to celebrate love, family, and friends! Y’all go above and beyond to make everything perfect for a celebration we will cherish for the rest of our lives!
From the hospitality of everyone we came across, the beautiful and picture perfect grounds, the flawless “flip” from worship service to reception (even climbing a ladder to swag curtains), to handling issues that arise (like when we ordered a stage too big), and having a space where the bride and groom can enjoy the company of their most special friends while getting ready, and everything in between it was perfect!
Birmingham is blessed to have a venue like yours, and I appreciate you very much! My daughter was able to have the wedding of her dreams in an affordable and beautiful space!

We had our wedding here in May & it was perfect! The staff was incredibly helpful from the time we booked with them to the time we had our send off on wedding day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous in its natural state with great places everywhere to take pictures! Not to mention, they did a flip in 15 minutes!! If you are considering having your event here, we highly recommend Shady Lane!

Very nice location for small concerts or weddings. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. Lots of parking space and a big spacious location for any feast so let the party begin!

As a local wedding planner who has planned many weddings here, you will not find a better place to host your ceremony, reception, holiday party, retirement party, etc! Every event I’ve ever been apart of here, has gone off without a hitch. Their staff is incredible, kind, FAST and efficient!! You will not regret hosting your wedding or event here!
