Great venue for all types of events. I had the pleasure of attending a big birthday bash here recently. As a wedding coordinator and someone that performs these types of events, I have to say that the layout and amenities provided are everything needed and more. Staff / owners are great to work with and are more flexible with what is allowed on the property. I enjoyed speaking with the owners and their willingness to make any event a special and tailored moment in time for their guests. I highly recommend this venue for weddings, big parties and even holiday gatherings. - Brittany.

What a fantastic venue! Our son married his beautiful bride last weekend and the setting could not have been more perfect. The Back Forty has plenty of space for banquet tables , catering tables, and a bar. There was even enough room for a band to set up to perform and still plenty of room to dance . The owners and staff were all so friendly and accommodating. There were rooms for the bridal party and the groomsmen to get dressed before the ceremony .
There were two large fire places to complete the atmosphere for their special day and two of the most exquisite chandeliers hanging in the large event area. The wedding was a total success and I can see that The Back Forty has limitless possibilities as a venue. Looking forward to seeing many more exciting events pop up at The Back Forty. Beautiful venue inside and out but definitely some issues need worked on. If guest are all sweating and hot maybe stop turning the air off. Second don’t lock all the doors, so family who are supposed to be going inside for pictures can’t get in or even for guests who need to use the restroom. Third seems strange to have people who were not there for the wedding, to be hanging out watching the ball game at the wedding. Lastly no need to be rude to guest and wedding party about the line up, which was changed from what is was the night before at rehearsal. It’s standing in a line. Small children can get in a line, just tell people where to stand and that things were changed and leave the attitude at home.

Can't get our down payment back more than a year away from the wedding date. After a high pressure sales job, we put down a $1000 deposit with the understanding that we could get the money back if we changed our minds. The date is more than a year away, No Contract, and we're being told thier lawyer will explain why we can't have our deposit back. Lawyers don't scare me, especially with no contract. Guess we'll see what a judge says. Good luck if you deal with these people. Get a signed contract if you do.

Had my daughter's wedding here a very nice and beautiful place inside with plenty of room. The heat outside was blistering but inside really comfortable. Great food provided . Would do it again.
