“Boom boom” sauce with fried green tomatoes steered us away from it and we tried the bread which we do NOT recommend. The balsamic used was so far from any real balsamic vinegar it wasn’t even funny. It was so watery that you couldn’t even get any because the viscosity of the cheap oil was so much higher than it.

Next came the lobster bisque, which can only be described as what might happen if you steeped crab shells in Campbell’s soup for a few hours. It had the unmistakable smell of something fishy—and not in a culinary sense. It arrived suspiciously fast (less than a minute after ordering), and not a shred of lobster or even a chunk of anything could be found in the bowl.

Then came the “French dip,” which was nothing short of a culinary crime. When we asked what was on it, the waitress (who was kind and helpful, to her credit) returned to inform us the kitchen had added queso alongside the provolone. Yes, queso—on a French dip. She thankfully brought a replacement without it, but the damage was done. The updated version was bland, forgettable, and frankly, something you’d expect to pay $1.50 for at a gas station. The accompanying au jus? Straight-up chicken stock from a box.

The one redeeming quality? The music was decent—at least something was thoughtfully curated.

The table next to us had a steak removed from the bill as it was overcooked and charred.

The Ruben was an atrocity. Do not recommend the restaurant. Not worth it.

The only reason for 1 star was the waitress.

Love this rustic building to restaurant conversion. The food was delicious and the outdoor patio had such a nice feel. Our waiter, Elijah, was very nice and even took special effort to ensure our Celiac son had safe food from the kitchen.

We enjoyed our meal here and really liked the atmosphere and service. My wife had the Attic Reuben and said it was one of the best Reubens she had in a long while. She swapped out the fries for a side salad which was plentiful in size. I had the Korean BBQ chicken which came with fried rice and mango salsa. The chicken was flavorful and tender and the fried rice was delicious as a side.

Our appetizer, the Fried Green Tomatoes were cooked well and not at all greasy. The tomatoes themselves had no seasoning in them and the accompanying boom-boom sauce was too spicy for my wife, which was disappointing because she normally enjoys trying different presentations of fried green tomatoes.

Our service was excellent and Jackie was attentive, caring, and added to the experience.

I love the decor of the restaurant, and the food was delicious. At the grill Caesar salad and loved it. The chicken very juicy and tender. We also got the Mediterranean Chicken and requested it was gluten and dairy-free.

My burger was cooked perfectly. Loved the blue cheese crumbles with the bacon jam. Server was great. Was not crowded. The prices were worth it for the quality, portion size and taste of the food. Seems like an unknown treasure!

Nice little restaurant. Great menu and good service. I had the Cesear salad and it was delicious. We also got the burger and the bun was very good. Only thing I recommend is to explicitly state that the black bean burger comes with mayo. Server was attentive and the patio was nice but can get a little noisy with the downtown car traffic.

Elijah was an excellent server. I want to start with that. He was kind and personable. The atmosphere was special. It's almost right out of a Hallmark movie. Lastly, the food was delicious. We look forward to returning. Now a word from my 10 year old daughter:

I was very proud of him. He was one of my best severs. He made me feel welcomed. Thank you.

Beautiful facility. Really cool inside with great atmosphere. Our server was quiet, seemed new, but nice. Food was just okay. I really wanted it to be awesome, but my hamburger steak was overcooked and only warm. Our appetizer was also only warm with really hot spots. My potatoes were good. My husband’s pasta was - he said - good, but his shrimp were over cooked.

Wonderful dining experience where the service was excellent and ambiance was perfect. We enjoyed the seafood pasta and grilled salmon with some great wine choices. The vibe and vintage decor added to our time there. We'll be back😎

The food was phenomenal! Our waiter, Sam, was friendly and outgoing. They were accommodating to our group to put our tables together so there was no separation between us. Great environment and very clean!

We went at around 7pm.

No more than four tables were occupied - and yet we waited thirty minutes for an uninspired caesar salad and virtually fifty minutes for flavorless onion rings, lackluster pasta, and a shrimp poboy that by no means should have taken that long. We also saw people who arrived after us get served before we did.

When we voiced our displeasure, we were condescendingly told by our server that it was "at the 49 minute threshold." We certainly don't appreciate being talked down to, much less when we'd already been patient enough to not say anything sooner.

To their credit, the manager (or a staff member from the kitchen) came out to apologize and discounted the meal. Nonetheless, the fact that we spent anything at all at the Attic was a mistake we won't repeat.
