The Alley, a bubble tea haven known for its signature Deerioca drinks, has elegantly carved a niche in the ever-expanding boba universe. Much like its branding with the majestic deer as its emblem, The Alley brings a touch of grace to its offerings, blending art and flavor seamlessly.

The Deerioca, a playful pun that merges deer with the traditional tapioca pearls/boba, is as delightful in taste as it is in name. These handcrafted brown sugar tapioca pearls are simmered to a perfect chewiness and paired with a luscious milk tea or fresh milk base. It’s a drink that manages to be rich yet balanced, indulgent but not overwhelming…an intricate dance of flavors in every sip.

While some bubble tea shops deliver on convenience or affordability alone, The Alley sets itself apart with an air of sophistication. Their attention to detail, from the velvety texture of the Deerioca pearls to the elegant aesthetics of their cups, ensures that each visit feels like a small, luxurious escape.

In short, the Deerioca drinks are as enchanting as their name suggests, proving that The Alley is truly fawned over for good reason.

Cat was phenomenal with her customer service! THANK YOU!

Welcoming my favorite boba spot to Lynnwood! The Alley is known for Deerioca (their brown sugar boba) and has another Washington location in Chinatown. The Alley offers adjustments on their brown sugar drinks unlike other bbt spots. Unfortunately they only go down to 50% sugar (on the brown sugar drinks), but it’s better than the full amount.

Soft opening is October 15-18 where they gradually add more drinks before the full menu on grand opening October 19. Brown sugar series only on October 15, then milk teas available October 16 and specialty drinks October 17. They are also offering croffles, which I’ve not seen at other The Alley locations but is pretty trendy with bbt these days.

Convenient location by the mall and there’s ample parking in the plaza. Interior seats 6 (4 of which are counter seats), so great spot to grab and go. Head towards the mall with the aesthetic drinks.

Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme BrĆ»lĆ©e Milk - a creamy drink with a rich, milky base. It’s their best seller for a reason with a blend of warm Deerioca, milk, pudding, and sea salt foam torched to perfection. As with fresh milk drinks, no tea.

Ube Taro Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk - definitely a favorite for those who enjoy toppings. This drink blends their warm Deerioca with taro chunks and ube cream for a sweet, nutty flavor in rich milk. Less creamy than the creme brƻlƩe counterpart but I personally say more rich in flavor (from the root vegetables).

Loved their milk tea no 9! More fragrant than your usual milk tea. Their lychee jelly is made in house, also yummy.

Went there and got the trio and brĆ»lĆ©e drink. It was honestly disgusting. They had levels of sweetness and both drinks suck. The brulee was bitter AF despite when we had requested for it to be 100% sweet. The trio drink didn’t come with taro topping either when we requested it. It was remade again once because they didn’t make it right the first time. The second one they handed to us was still made the same as the first. Could have gone with the first one instead of wasting time waiting so long for the two drinks. Don’t fall for the pictures. It looks good but it ain’t taste like what it look like. I took two sips and tossed it in the trash.
