Delish start to our morning at Tarine. We sat on the patio, ordered lattes, a croissant and some sandwiches. Everything was great. The mushroom Reuben was super tasty and I loved the pickled carrot on the side. Would be thrilled to return.

In what world is an add-on slice of avocado $4.50 and half a loaf of bread 10 bucks (1.50 a slice) with a suggest 25% tip?
Don’t get me wrong, their food is good. These prices are next level absurd though

Amazing bread! Wish the menu was bigger but the coffee and the sandwiches that they do offer are worth every penny. Love that you can buy half a loaf of bread. Definitely recommend, will return. Parking is a hassle in this area, but it is free.

No customer bathrooms. I was told by Tartine staff to walk my 5 year old a block to a random shop to use their bathroom (a wine shop where I had no plans to purchase), and when I got there the shop was closed anyway. So, doubly disappointing after following the guidance the staff gave.

Please let customers know there are no bathrooms before they purchase food. It makes the location less accessible and less enjoyable for people with children or medical needs. We live in the Bay Area where all Tartine locations I’ve been to have bathroom access. Disappointing.

The bread was stale and overpriced, the coffee is watery. There have been multiple complaints about this owner, it’s evident his employees are both unhappy and rude. Do not come to this overpriced chain.
