What a mistake to spend the night here. I hated the sound of the drilling generator, going on all through the night. I never ever ever want to spend a night here again. Not even if I was paid for it. Shame though, lovely people running the place, nice location. But paying 150$ to sleep in a very basic tent next to a generator, not cool.

The cabin had some older bedding that wasn't comfortable, but it was sufficient. Since we stayed there in the summer, it would have been nice to have blinds to close. The view of the lake was spectacular. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast prepared by the lodge owners. They have a nice shop with gifts and other items. The owners are very nice people.

Dave and Tonia are the kindest and extremely helpful hosts. They made our crews few month stay here incredible. It's a must stay when on the Denali highway.

This is a great place to stop for a break on the road or for food. Server was very nice and the food was good. It has a nice view l, along with a small shop for gifts and some essentials (like paper towel, TP, etc).

We have been there several times. Owners are super great people; very friendly, knowledgeable/helpful and always do everything possible so you have the best experience. Food variety and quality is exceptional especially for being so remote. A must stop along the Denali Hwy!!

Absolutely wonderful weekend at a gorgeous location. The hosts/owners are amazing. We arrived to a spacious, rustic cabin that was clean and comfortable. The dinner The first night was sweet chili wings for the adults and fries and burgers for the kids. The wings were huge and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our picky eaters devoured the burgers and fries and proclaimed them the best they've had. Breakfast was bacon and eggs with toasted homemade bread. Dinner the second night was some of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. We are already planning our next weekend away. I highly recommend the lodge for a nice quiet weekend with amazing mountains and lake views as well as some of the best people and food around. There are also many varied opportunities for fishing, hiking, berry picking, biking, and four wheeling. Just an all-around amazing area with even better people.

Wow unexpected yummy pancakes and the bacon was killer good. They have the best snacks too. If you have a chance they know their stuff go there when traveling the Denali highway

We broke down on the Denali Highway and had to leave our camp trailer by the side of the road. At the lodge, we found a nice cabin to rent, wifi so we could call a wrecker., and good food. The owners were friendly and extremely helpful. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The lodge is located on the lake and has canoes and kayaks to rent. |Contrary to what your read, the road is good and easy to traverse.
