First time visiting this cabin and it’s been a fantastic experience. Breath taking scenic views surrounded by sky scraping trees. I stayed at Hilltop Lakeside Cabin which was fully equipped with necessities, clean, sanitized and just wonderful to sleep and wind down in after a long exploratory day at the parks. Highly recommend!! Hands down best one to pick for amazing vaca experience!!

My wife and I, along with a couple of family members needed a break and chose to stay here. We were amazed at well and thoughtfully set up the cabin was! There was a very comfortable and welcome feeling from the owner and in the cabin as well.

If you need a quick getaway or even a longer one, I highly recommend checking these folks out. We live a little over an hour away from them and will definitely be taking advantage of their closeness for getaways again in the future!

My family and I rented all three cabins last fall and totally enjoyed our time at this delightful site. Two of the cabins are nestled in the woods near the lake and the third is right off the parking area. All cabins were clean and well stocked with what we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Outside we had plenty of chairs and even a boat with life jackets to use to paddle around the lake. Hosts Wayne and Holly were incredibly accommodating and made us feel very welcome to enjoy their beautiful piece of Alaska real estate. Hope to be able to visit there again someday. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates the best of Alaska -- beauty, woods, wildlife, serenity and privacy. No TV or WIFI distractions, thank goodness.

This is a must place to stay!!! Wayne the proprietor is nice, accommodating and honest. I had booked 6 nights and then asked to stay 2 more days. I was able to enjoy this cabin another 2 days! Amazing coffee, plenty of towels, bed is a cloud, back patio with the lake to see daily, loons and pure quiet making it just heaven! I could have stayed forever!! Thanks Wayne!!

Such a lovely setting for these cabins. Ours was very comfortable but I was glad I didn't have to sleep in the loft as the ladder was a little scary for me. These eco friendly cabins are beautifully situated on the lake however do not have drive-up access. We just took what we needed from the car instead of lugging all the luggage down the gravel path.

We were amazed at the attention to detail. This little cabin had everything we needed and was beside a lovely lake with boats and life preservers available to enjoy it. We were very comfortable for 2 nights. Really! They really paid attention to detail. We would have loved to have stayed longer. But you need to know a few things: 1) the bed is in a loft and you must negotiate steep stairs in a narrow space to access it. 2) The toilet is an "Incinolet" (a toilet that incinerates the waste). Follow the instructions carefully or get help from the owners who are very accessible. It's not hard, but if you don't do it just right, you won't have the best experience. 3)You cannot drive to the cabin to unload and there is a rather steep path to the cabin. They provide a hand truck, but it's still rather difficult to negotiate if its heavy.

After a busy week of sight seeing, this was the perfect place to rest and regroup while enjoying the lake. You can cook your own meals or make the short drive into Talkeetna for dinner out. If you want to stretch you legs, you can walk the gravel roads surrounded by trees.||||The cabins were clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home. Our host was very gracious and helpful. We'd definately stay here again.

A true cabin in a secluded surrounding but with everything you need. Easy check in and check out. Bed was comfy. We were new to the Incincolet but it was easy. Area tips in a binder on the table when we arrived was also helpful. Chairs on the outside porch to watch wildlife and enjoy the serene surroundings. I recommend this place to get away from the bustle of Talkeetna.
