Not being from the Midwest this was my first time at a Taco John's. I was able to practice my Spanish with the employees but that was my choice, they speak English. The boss burrito was pretty good. Fresher than Taco Bell. Tater tots were average but there is only so much you cav do to make fast food tater tots exciting.

This is the best fast food restaurant I have ever been to.
I've always gone to XXXX Bell.
Yesterday I tried Taco Johns for the first time.
The young lady working the drive through was extremely friendly, and polite.
I thought she was just having a good day.
So I came back today, and went inside to eat.
Everyone here is very polite and friendly.
Yesterday I tried 2 soft and 2 hard tacos with hot sauce. They were incredibly flavorful and filling.
Today I tried 1 chicken and 1 steak quesadilla.
I have no complaints.

I'm not a fan of American Mexican/Mexican food, but I really love this fast food joint! Their Potato Oles are my fave! 😋 Otherwise, it's usually a beef soft shell taco (#2) for me. Their fish taco is the best, but sadly it's only around once a year 😭. This might sound weird, but Mountain Dew tastes SO much better after a taco! 🤣 The restaurant is usually clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful! 👍

"Negatives:"

It's FREEZING inside during summer! 🥶 The AC is WAY too strong – I need a sweater or I'll eat outside. Also, the mild and hot sauces are kept behind the counter and the employees are kinda stingy with them. Other locations don't do this! 🤔

The Supervisor was very rude because he does not say will be right with you at all then he’s giving me a damn attitude every single time. I believe his name is Daniel. They were only taking orders thru Drive-through and not worried about people in side it all

First time trying taco John's. Ive always have been a fan of taco bells since the late 70's. and really never tried any competing fast food taco places.
The first thing noticed was that this place brought more spice to the party. Besides that, they are very comparable in cost, variety and overall style.

I guess if I had to choose between the two, Id lean more towards taco John's due to spice.

I just love Taco John’s!! After living in California for many years, where the Mexican food is so freshen, authentic.. This place is a bright shining star. Sometimes they drive all the way over here just to get it! Fresh ingredients great service quick if you’re on the go! The staff is so nice! It’s the real deal!! Try their new cheesy burrito it’s fantastic!

We stopped in for lunch today and I actually complained to my husband that my food was too hot to eat. I don't remember the last time we got fast food and it was fresh, even during peak times.
