This Inn is a hidden gem. Very homey and welcoming. We completely loved the scriptures over each door. It was so nice to rest in a quiet location. The room looked wonderful. I loved the quilt type bedding. Nice touch! Aldo, we went for a walk and the inn is right near the Susitna River, I think that's the name. The land around the inn is so peaceful. We got breakfast in the morning. The portions are huge and the food, fantastic! I plan on bringing my dad here. I was super honored to see the drawing of the early model of the Chinook Helicopter on the wall. The owners are good patriotic people. That made my heart smile so big ❤️! If you need rest, quiet and comfort, come stay at this inn. Oh....and I suggest the Swiss French Toast with blueberry syrup, I think that's what I got, Delicious! Oh with a side of bacon....

Nice place and excellent service. Staff more than helpfull snd well, its the same for all Talkeetna, what else can you expect, these guys are living close to one of the last borderlines, frontier to the wild and they help each other. So you can expect an excellent service and human warmth which makes you feel at home.

Best Breakfast in town! If the sausage patty melt is the special…order it without question. I’ve never stayed in their rooms myself but have heard nothing but great things about the accommodations.

It was a complete dump. There was not enough hot water, our beds were literally cots. Breakfasts were good. This was just one of several unacceptable accomadations on a family "adventure" trip with National Geographic that was farmed out to gadventures.

I stayed at the Swiss Inn during the Talkeetna Bachelor Ball and had such a blast. The family that runs it is so friendly, and the restaurant is SO good in the morning (particularly after a perhaps too-fun evening). Definitely recommend trying the roesti - it's a Swiss potato breakfast dish that I haven't stopped thinking about since I went. The rooms are clean and easy to find, and it's just an all-around great place. I'll be back!

Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast!! Biscuits & Gravy were fantastic and we loved the Roesti.

The rooms are quite small and beyond basic. There literally is one socket behind the bedside table which is not convenient if you need to charge multiple devices. The shower is temperamental - scolding hot or freezing cold. You can have breakfast on site and the quality is actually good (actually way better than the lodge) if you care to wait for more than one hour to be served. The entire place could do with some refurbishment.

We stopped here for breakfast on our first morning in Alaska. It was wonderful! The waitress offered suggestions and we tried all of them. She was spot on…they were delicious. My favorite was the Swiss French toast. The service was great…from the waitress filling coffee to the busboy clearing the tables. We would highly recommend!
