First, you had us all fooled. The grand farewell, the dramatic ā€œgoing out of businessā€ announcement—people rushed in droves, eager to grab one last taste of those sweet, nostalgic donuts. And like a loyal customer, I joined the crowd, snagging a box to say my goodbyes, savoring what I thought was the final taste of something special.

But then… surprise! You’re not actually closing. Okay, fine—maybe it was a misunderstanding, maybe it was just some weird business move, whatever. I figured, ā€œHey, they’re still open, and those donuts were good. Might as well go back for another round.ā€

Big mistake.

What I got the second time around tasted nothing like the warm, fresh, melt-in-your-mouth treats I remembered. Instead, they were dry, stale, and had that unmistakable "been sitting out too long" chew. A day old? Maybe two? Either way, not the quality I once knew.

Was the fake farewell just a cash grab? A way to spike sales before switching to subpar leftovers? I don’t know, but I do know this—I won’t be fooled again.

Disappointed doesn’t even begin to cover it.

We were originally going to order our gender reveal cake from Bonnie’s, but after being told they couldn’t color the inside of the cake it was a no for me! Went to Sweet Nana’s and they had no issue making the cake exactly as I asked for it! It turned out amazing. The customer service was amazing and the cake was tasty, a little dry, but nothing that couldn’t be worked around! A great price for a great cake! <3

I ordered 6 dozen donuts from Sweet Nana’s 4 months in advance for my wedding. The lady on the phone took my order, was nice, and assured me that they would be ready 1 day before my wedding. I had my cake baker go pick up the donuts for me as a favor, and when she arrived, they told her they did not make any donuts and refused to make them. They stated they ā€œdidn’t have any timeā€ for the order that I put in MONTHS in advance. After my cake baker argued with them for some time, they quickly and sloppily put my order together. See pictures for the highly unprofessional job they did. Please get donuts somewhere else if you want professionalism and quality dessert.

Worth the stop on our drive through the area.
Lovely lady greeted us on our entrance as well as on the phone.
Oh. My. Goodness.
This pistachio cannoli is amazing. (I took a few bites before the picture...sorry ...not sorry) Can't wait to try these donuts I got my dad as well.
Thank you!!

You need to update your hours. Traveled down here to try the food and they are closed despite saying open online.

Stopped in yesterday to try their donuts and cupcakes. I have to say they were the absolute WORST baked goods I’ve ever tasted. The cake in the cupcakes was heavy, hard and dry and the icing was indescribably bad. It had no taste and was made with something that left a film on my lips and tongue. Couldn’t get the awful taste out of my mouth. The donuts were also very heavy. The donut itself was dry and tasteless and it was filled with the same cream that iced the cupcakes. Yuck! I hate to slam a small business, but it was really bad. I threw $12 worth of baked goods in the trash.

These donuts are the best I’ve found in Harrison County. The only ā€œdownsideā€ā€”and this is a matter of personal taste, I think—is that I usually have to scoop out half of what’s in the cream-filled ones so that I’m not eating straight buttercream frosting. The cupcakes were strangely dry and crumbly the couple times I tried them, but the cookies are consistently delicious. The staff have always been super nice when I come in.

I really hate to leave a bad review for a small indi place like this. Especially considering it is one of the only donut places within an hour or so from here. But I tried this place for the first time a couple days ago and I wasn't very impressed.
I got a dozen assorted kinds of donuts. Some of the donuts were stale and old tasting. Some were fresh tasting but had a weird flavor. There was zero consistency between any of them. Some were so "crunchy" they fell apart. But the worst were the creams. While the donut part tasted fresh, they loaded so much of the butter cream icing inside and out that it was totally over kill. It was the single most disgusting thing I have ever tried to eat. When you picked up one of those cream donuts, It felt really heavy... Your brain says "Wow. there must be a lot of cream in there"... well there's a lot of it alright. Ugh... it was so gross. Many times when you get a vanilla cream donut there is not enough cream inside.... Well that's not the case here... Worse, the cream was not a "light" butter cream. It was really really heavy. Dense. and left an aftertaste that after one bite, three cups of coffee couldn't get the taste of it out of my mouth. It was so nasty. I can't imagine any one actually wanting to eat one of those.

I give them two stars cause the people working in there were so sweet... but the donuts.... ugh...
