This place was our first cabin stay as adults, and it made our honeymoon all the more memorable for it. Despite coming in October, the view was great. A nice river with a small cascade of rocks so it's like the river falls into itself. Minute walk from the front door to the river and boom, mountain view in the distance that'll take me 2 hours to drive to. Had to move the couch and table for alittle extra room on the ground floor for our gear but it was light and easy. That cabin was CLEAN. plenty of simple amenities were greatly appreciated. The bed was amazingly comfortable (some kinda memory foam?) no bounce but not firm either. Either way, put an insomniac right to sleep. The second floor was nice as electric heating starts there. But the view of the woods and river was great. We also saw the Northern lights here, wonderful experience. The whole cabin was cozy with plenty of windows, a great place to relax and celebrate.

We spent 2 nights in one of the riverside lodges during our recent trip to Alaska. This was our favourite of all the places we stayed. We had a riverside lodge. It was very clean and well equipped, and we found all the staff to be friendly and exceptionally helpful. We arrived on the Alaska Railroad from Fairbanks. Were not sure how we would get to the accommodation but had worked out it was only a short walk from the railroad depot. To our surprise the owner arrived in her car to pick us up and she took us for a quick tour round the village pointing out the best shops and places to eat. The cabin was cosy and comfortable, bathroom facilities were fine. We were lucky with the weather and loved just sitting on the veranda enjoying the peace and quiet, and views of the river. It was only an easy short walk in to Talkeetna probably about one mile. We enjoyed excellent breakfasts at the nearby Latitude 22 roadhouse and meals at Brewdog in Talkeetna.

Will be staying here again. We had a fantastic stay. The cabin is adorable and functional. The staff is fantastic and two staff said that they enjoy working at the cabins because they are treated well by the owners. That was so nice to hear. It’s the best place I’ve stayed in Talkeetna.

The main - I found this place really quiet, despite on train’s horns of course. I tried both suit and cabin, and all of them are comfy and clean. In my opinion suit is even more favorable, moreover it is cheaper.

We stayed in one of the backwoods cabins for 3 nights. It was a lovely cabin, set just off the river. The cabin was clean and cosy, and a great location for exploring Talkeetna and the surrounding area. We received a really warm welcome by the staff, who were also happy to provide suggestions on places to eat nearby. ||The only slight negative was the wifi wasn’t great in the cabin, but there was a lounge area in the main building where the wifi was good, so we just spent some pleasant evenings hanging out there.

Lovely riverside Lodge with clean comfortable room on the edge of Talkeetna with easy walking access to restaurants, shops and train station. An excellent stopping off point between Anchorage and Denali . Reception staff were also very help.

What a great surprise! The cabin, scenery, and service were top-notch. Wish we could have stayed longer. The view outside our cabin was amazing.

Not only was there no one there to greet us in the afternoon when we arrived but no one bothered to let us know this before we arrived. So we stood waiting for someone to turn up before realising we had to fend for ourselves. After a non existent welcome, you'd think that during our stay someone would have bothered to say hello to us while we were there and to check we had everything we needed. But no, we were ignored by the staff. I overheard the owner telling a coach driver, that the place was small enough to run by itself. Well no, each customer deserves some sort of customer service! They clearly weren't interested in us as we had pre-paid and they had our money. Literally no member of staff spoke to us!||Had to laugh as the cleaner had left an envelope on a dirty stained table in our room requesting we leave a tip! And she managed to pass us without greeting us. Our tip would be to remember your customers pay your salary!||The room was hot and stuffy and no one had bothered to leave a window open to cool it down. There was no air conditioning so an open window would have been appreciated. ||There were several flights of stairs to contend with. We don't have mobility issues but it would be a problem for anyone who does and there was no one to help with our luggage. ||No catering on site and no one to ask where to go for breakfast and dinner etc in the area. Luckily we found a lovely lodge in the area where we were able to enjoy lovely views of Denali and dinner. ||Our tip would be to stay elsewhere where you are appreciated.
