The room we had was very clean and comfortable. The whole atmosphere was quiet and well kept. The breakfast that was available was cereal, milk bananas, breads and little muffins. Very minimal selection. Coffee available 24/7. The owners are very nice and helpful! I’ll stay here again when traveling this way. If you like to fish from the bank it’s a great place to sit and do this as well.

Second year staying at this hotel. Rooms are clean,comfortable and the view is excellent. Right on the river and so peaceful. Staff and owner are awesome. They have done upgrades to everything and it is excellent. They have a dock right on the river with chairs,swing,tables to enjoy the view. Won't stay anywhere else. This place is beautiful!

Very pleasant surprise! Most super 8's are lacking. The room was clean, fresh looking, and plush mattress with pillows. Floor was laminate which I like since carpet can be nasty. Landscaping was impeccable with a beautiful view of the lake. For under a $100, it was an incredible value. Staff was caring and walked me to my room to make sure I was satisfied. Separate parking for boats with charging station. Short drive to any of your needs. I'll always stay here in the future when I'm the area.

Stayed here for one night while racing at Talledega short track. Front desk staff were very friendly. There were some mix ups with the 3rd party booking but they were able to quickly fix the issue. Rooms were clean and overall the place was nice. There was a pretty view to the lake and you could tell the grounds were well kept. Will be staying again for future races. I will call them directly next time though to avoid the confusion and timely check in.

This was a nice hotel overall with friendly staff and It’s located right on the water with great views. They definitely spent a lot of time landscaping and making the pool area look attractive! They do accept small dogs as long as they are well-behaved. Our room price was very reasonable and the room is adequate with a mini fridge and a comfortable bed. The room was clean overall, but a little bit more attention could be implied on scrubbing soap film in the bathtub.
We mentioned to the staff the soap film in our bathtub and they seem to really care to make it better. The families has only owned this hotel for a year, so overall, they are doing great! We would stay again.

The new owners have put a lot into making this place nice again. The staff is super accommodating, and the rooms are up to date. THE VIEWS... WOW the management has built nice areas to sit and look at the beautiful lake. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

This was a perfect hidden gem for us! After tire issues, we had to end our trip earlier than expected, and the room was so cozy. The bed was super comfortable, and our dog had his own little corner for his bed. Everything was clean, and the VIEW. So peaceful after a stressful few hours. We would definitely stay here again! It didn’t feel like a Super 8 at all! We felt safe and relaxed.

My only slightly negative notes are that the breakfast was fine, but there weren’t any protein options. (Yogurt, eggs, meat, etc.) We were also told a much higher price when we called than we found online. Booking online was about $25 cheaper, so we suggest you go that route.

This place is off the chain folks!! Omg the river front rooms are the best!!! This is not your typical super 8 by any means. Beautiful decks overlooking the river. Wonderful setting with swings and lawn chairs facing the beautiful scenery. Just magnificent folks! Unbelievable price for such serenity. Truly a hidden gem. wow, just wow. Happy travels!! Oh and doggo friendly!!
