I had an amazing experience in sunsets island bar and grill. I ordered the kalua Vegan Bowl and it was absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your meal. Plus, the staff was super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty vegan options and great service!

We had the Lomi Lomi Salmon and the Huli Huli Chicken.

However, it is very strange that the lunch menu is more like a dinner menu. Also, it would be great to have a chicken item that doesn't come on a bone for those on low fiber diets, just to be safe. Finger foods at prices like these is just messy and takes some work. Call me lazy, but I don't like to get so messy and work to eat my meal in such a nice setting.

Dinner items are limited outside of the signature items, and it's 6 items, 3 are vegetarian, and 3 are not.

I've never seen teriyaki salmon so expensive outside of areas like Malibu etc. Lake Arrowhead sure ain't Malibu.

Also, at high prices like this, the servers should be packing the to-go boxes but they just bring you the box. The boxes fall apart very easily as well. Mine was already ripped when they brought it to me.

I wouldn't complain about the prices unless I felt the prices were way above the overall quality and experience.

I got the Wagyu burger with pineapple and it was really good. I’m not a big fan of mustard but the pineapple mustard in it was really amazing. I highly recommend it. My wife is vegetarian and there are plenty of options for vegetarian and vegan food. We will back tomorrow to get the vegan burger and the blue cheese burger.

Finally made it to sunsets bar and grill for dinner and it was amazing. Food was fantastic. I got the salmon dinner with mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Had the cheesecake for dessert and I was in heaven with every bite. Omg that was amazing. Definitely will be going back. Atmosphere was relaxing and the night was just perfect. Staff was attentive and served with care and efficiency. Loved my experience there.

The chicken is the standout dish here, very flavorful! And the tiki bar next door makes great drinks with a good overall vibe

One of the worst restaurants I've EVER been to in my entire life. Hop in as a group of 7 in a Saturday afternoon at around 2pm when there's only at max four groups of customer during then. Order the food, and wait and wait and wait for 15 minutes when the waitress stops by and tell us that our food will be coming out "shortly". Then we proceed to wait for another 20 minutes....
I think everyone can agree that the word "shortly" does not mean 10+ minutes of wait, not to mention we literally wait for like 30+ minutes before our food were served. We try to ask other waitress when our food is coming up; one waitress said he will check with the kitchen and get back to us, and then? Doesn't even come back and inform us about anything.
We literally wasted an hour in this restaurant for NOTHING! The food is MID! not worth 20+ for sure. When we all decided to take out and leave, ALL the food comes out in a sudden. We try to pay for the food and tip, yet they already put up the 20% gratuity fee for us. (The menu clearly said over a party of 8) We have 7 people.... This restaurant is a complete mess. Can't stress how much I hate this place. (Me and my friends do make a memorable event because of how bad and ridiculous this place is) Please avoid this restaurant at all cost. AND don't try to make
excuse that you have whatever kitchen, we don't care. Waiting for a few burgers and shrimp taco for over 30+ minutes is crazy.

The Island vibe was amazing. Across the board this are five stars, authenticity, freshness of the food, the personability of the staff, specifically Arturo and Mondo. Me and my family will definitely dine at Sunsets every time I come to lake Arrowhead. Love the Aloha Spirit!!

We waited a very long time before we were even spoken to by a wait staff. Someone took our drink order but I never did get the iced tea I ordered. Once we did get our meal my hamburger was burnt and my son’s salmon was burnt. I might have sent it back but we didn’t see our waiter again. Very expensive for such a disappointment.
