They can carry wide variety of drinks but didn't have unsweetened ice tea. They did though have bottomless cups of good black coffee. Their roast beef in The Beast sandwich seemed to be standard luncheon meat roast beef and not fresh brisket. Friendly staff and very busy at lunch time as it is very popular place.

The seasonal beet hummus wrap was fairly yummy but could have benefited from a spattering of herbs to compliment the feta & hummus. Perhaps a bit more garlic/tahini in the hummus. That said, I had the wrap sans the turkey. Still delicious, though. It came with a side of nice kettle chips that could be substituted with a side salad for a bit more. Overall, great lunch. Nice outdoor seating in back!

My job has me on the road, so I see plenty mediocre food. I had the Italian sandwich (not the correct name) it was a flavor EXPLOSION! The meat with the pickled onion, pepericini,.... bread toasted to perfection. Then upped for the house salad; lettuce was very crisp and rest was balanced and flavorful [NOT a bowel of stale iceberg with a cherry tomato andimp tough cucumber I usually end up with] THIS WAS A GREAT, WELL BALLENCED FLAVOR MEAL!

We got sandwiches and a salad: "Sunn Slayer, The Bomb, and the lime-cilantro quinoa salad. I am vegan and my friend is not. We both felt very satisfied with the options. The ingredients were extremely fresh, flavors were well balanced and bold, and the toasted bread was next level.

Service was friendly by all and the atmosphere is clean, spacious, with lovely decor that honors the historic building. Music was on but atmospheric and pleasant, complimenting the overall experience.

I would definitely come back to try more of their menu. The prices were fair for the high quality. 10-13.50 per plate.

I ordered the “Beast” sandwich with a side of Potato Salad Togo. It was ready when I got there and very friendly staff! I got home to divulge in this deliciousness and it went way beyond my expectations for a roast beef sandwich!!! It has so much flavor, not to much of one over the other in each bite but you get a taste of everything, every bite. Perfectly executed!! And the potato salad, yum!! I’m not a fan of bacon and there is bacon in this potato salad but it makes it. It’s the perfect amount, not over powering, and can still get the potato salad flavor I’m looking for. Very tasty over all and will definitely be back for more!! Thanks Sunn Cafe!

Small towns like Mount Horeb, Wisconsin make a whole lot more sense when they also provide charming, independent cafes that have espresso drinks and amazing food. Don't go to the small towns that don't have this.

We enjoyed a healthy lunch this weekend with the house salad, jammwitch, and broccoli tahini side salad. The ladies were very accommodating of our dietary restrictions and large number of questions. Oh, and the vegan GF zucchini muffin was wonderful!

I've been a regular here for 6 years and counting! Not once have I had a meal that was anything other than delicious. Fresh, local ingredients. Their specials are off the charts. Everything has that farm-to-table intention and taste. The atmosphere feels very rustic, organic and bright. They really go the extra mile with picking fresh flowers for each table. Staff/owners are highly personable and lovely to the bone. Good people. Good food. (oh and great coffee, too!) P.S. I get their kids meals sometimes for a snack - They're 5 bucks, very simple and yet somehow delicious.
