I called for a take out order the lady on the phone was nice and made it easy to order. When I got my plate (ordered the California omelette) the avocado I was given was black and did not look appealing nor appetizing. Lazy work in my opinion and if I knew it wasn’t going to be fresh avocado I wouldn’t have ordered it.

Update: Got an apology from the manager and she gave me another meal on the house as a token of her apology. Service is excellent I will be coming back.

Chilaquiles and California omelette were great. Fast service, cute decor. Will definitely go back again soon. I would prefer to support small business like this any time.

The food was great and the service was just as great. The young lady that served us was really sweet. We were hesitant about trying this little spot after reading the reviews, but we are happy we tryed it. Everyone has their own opinion, don't let others bad experiences make your decision for you.

This cafe is near the urgent care that is economical for people with no medical insurance. We ordered chilaquiles and it was very good. The staff was also very friendly. I highly recommend this place. They have some great food. My partner loved the rice and I’m usually very picky, but it was bomb!

The food at this place is fantastic - you absolutely have to try the chilaquiles! They consistently nail these traditional dishes and we've returned multiple times just for the cooking.

Unfortunately, the service doesn't match the quality of the food. Despite giving them several chances, we've consistently experienced inattentive service from a tired-seeming young server who often forgets items, and encountered unfriendly attitudes from the proprietress. What's particularly uncomfortable is the aggressive expectation for tips, including visible disappointment when gratuity isn't provided, despite the subpar service.

Bottom line: Come for the excellent authentic dishes, but be prepared for service that needs improvement.

Saw a sign for the restaurant and decided to try it, I love café and breakfast restaurants. The location is really nice, plenty of parking space due to the vacant grocery store next door. There are tables and booths indoors as well as outdoor patio seating.

On my first visit I had the chilaquiles. This time I tried the coconut french toast that came with eggs and bacon, it was perfect. Really fluffy and crispy, as well as the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. I'm definitely making this one of my favorite local breakfast spots!

I hate to leave this review, because the food is delicious. However....... My wife (see yvee garcia) made a previous review.

My wife, my 5 and 7yr old daughter, and I decided to come back and give the another opportunity. Only to be turned away by who I assume is the owner or manager.

She blatantly asked my wife if she had made a negative review, we were flabbergasted but still gave her an honest answer and told her yes!

The owner/manager then proceeded to say, well we serve the right to refuse service to anyone and since you gave us a negative review, you are not welcome here anymore.

Mind you, our complaint/review was not because of the food but their service (her attitude and decision to refuse service proved our review)

I told her, the same thing and made her aware that, in the past, we seen the way she treats "regulars" (And we've come in nearly every Saturday) and the way she treated us and others was inconsistent. Still she refused to serve us and as "the owner / manager, yes, she has the right to do so.

But I thought, that the reason for review (constructive criticism) is improve so that you keep your clientele..

But all is not lost. If it wasn't for her refusing to serve us, we would have never gone to AZTECA Restaurant, which if I felt the food was good at Sun Flower Cafe,... at AZTECA, THE FOOD IS 10X'S BETTER!!!!!!!

I came here with my husband because we heard from friends it was a “ cute “ cafe but honestly we regret ever coming here!
The owner I believe kept giving us dirty looks

The pictures it shows online and socials of this restaurant look appetizing but when you order something that you saw in a picture it does not taste like how you would expect. Very bland food and no flavor! The beans I got looked like wedge of the pot beans.. when I told the waiter I wanted it redone ( the beans ) the same crust I saw on them was still there just mixed with added beans… the prices are outrageous and tbh Tom’s has better prices and more yummy food with better customer service!

Very unpleasant with the food and customer service. I payed but I called my bank to dispute the charge of this disgusting place. They don’t deserve my hard working money never coming back .
