This place deserves TEN stars! I can't say enough. The location is stunning. We stayed in a lake view cabin that was amazing. The furniture and the decor was well thought out and perfect. Wonderful place to stay, from the moment we arrived we were taken care of, from helping us get our fishing licenses to loaning us bear spay. Cabin was very clean, beds comfortable, loved the decor and enjoyed the coffee in the room. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff very friendly! The lake is beautiful and saw a pair of loons! Would defiantly stay here again!! Thank you for a great stay and for all your help!

This is a wonderful place. The location is beautiful, the owners are lovely and the service is excellent. The lodges are beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Food in the restaurant is first class with a good range of choices and breakfast is also great. We would not hesitate in returning and would recommend the lodge to anyone visiting the area.

This is the greatest lodge I have ever been to. The service, the people, the food and everything was amazing. I literally did not want to leave this place. The owners are amazing people and were so accommodating. I honestly believe this is my favorite place on earth. I will definitely be back. My only regret was that I did not spend enough time just relaxing here as I had booked the Relaxed Explorer package. Which was great but I really would love to just spend time at the lodge

We can’t say enough about this awesome gem. We were scouting for a future family trip and I think we found a place that’s just our style. It’s right in the middle of everything but nestled in the mountains. You will have a feeling like you’re in the thick of it until you see the well updated rooms. Breakfast is out of this world!!! Boasts an on site restaurant that almost makes you wanna stay in the whole time. A short drive from Russian river falls, kenai river/cooper landing, Seward, Whittier. Again, awesome spot with very accommodating and polite staff. Boathouse with complimentary kayaks, gas fired pits near the lake and the room. On-site pizza and ice cream store. Again, it has a little bit of everything. The Perezes, Savannah Ga.

I was biking from Seward and stopped at there cafe during a rainstorm. I came in very drenched, but the staff didn’t mind at all. I think they may have some foreign exchange students working here. They were wonderful people. I was greeted with a friendly smile. They warmed up some pie for me and the coffee was hot and delicious. I ordered a slice of pizza too and they let me know they would bring me out a fresh one in ten minutes, if that was okay with me. It was such a pleasant surprise and I would go there now even on a sunny day. It’s so refreshing to have a nice staff working at this cafe. They all seemed very happy to be there. I recommend this place to everyone.

Summit Lake Lodge exceeded our expectations and we were sad to leave after a short stay. The rooms were clean and comfy, the food in the restaurant was quite good, and the lake is gorgeous. We loved taking out the free kayaks for an evening paddle. The owners were friendly and welcoming - we hope to return again sometime!

Terrific, friendly place. Loved Marty and Lindsey and June and all the folks who went out of their way to make sure our stay was special. We ate dinner there twice, delicious and relaxed. Breakfast also hit the spot. Our rooms were very comfortable and stylish. Great place to stay, especially if you’re making the long drive from Denali to Seward, and want to shorten the trip at a picturesque and lovely spot.
