My daughter has been getting horseback riding lessons at Summer Rose Horsemanship for almost 5 years (we actually followed to this new location) and she has loved every second of it! You can tell just how much everyone here loves the horses, and loves teaching others about how to care for them as well as riding. Plus it's some of the best views in Keedysville.

We would never go anywhere else for riding lessons! I am so impressed with Frog's knowledge and teaching ability. My 12 year old daughter takes weekly lessons with Frog @ Summer Rose Horsemanship. She encourages confidence and incorporates age appropriate education into every lesson. Frog shows the utmost respect to her horses and I admire the friendly demeanor she displays with her students and all of her animal friends!

Frog (the instructor) is an awesome teacher! She's positive and patient. I'm an adult beginner student, and she makes me feel comfortable.

She does a great job of explaining concepts in different ways, until we find one that really "clicks" with me, and helps me really understand the "why and how" of a technique.

You will not be disappointed with the time and care provided to you by Frog. She is the most amazing instructor and really takes the time to make sure you understand. My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves her and I have learned so much myself from her.

Frog(Lindsay) started giving lessons to my son last winter (he had just turned 4). She combines riding instruction -led by child's individual skill and interests, with learning various horse terms for Tack, Anatomy, etc. Emphasis is always on safety of rider and horse, both in the saddle, and on the ground. Lessons are laidback and FUN! My son ADORES her.
I would recommend to anyone wanting to start or further their horse education.
