Read the fine print very carefully. The cancelation policy is terrible. I had to cancel my original reservation due to bad weather. At the time I canceled, I was told that I could either use the full amount for a future stay within six months, or I could get 50% or my money back. I was told that I had the full six months to make that decision. I recently called to say that I wanted the 50% money back option. I was told it was too late. My money had been transferred into a hotel credit that could only be used for a future stay. It was in the fine print in the reservation email. I told the person that is not what I was told over the phone, and she said too bad. It's their policy. So, it looks like I will be out the full amount I paid with nothing to show for it. Very disappointed. Terrible cancelation policy. Poor over the phone service.

We love a quiet winter getaway and this was perfect. The room was cozy, fresh, and had everything we wanted especially a gas fireplace. We paid extra for the lake view and it was lovely. Dutch’s restaurant is pricey but very nice, with great staff.

We stayed for the long weekend as a family and had a blast. I would leave a higher rating if it weren't for the final night of my stay. On Sunday evenings the front desk closes at 8pm and the only contact you can get it touch with are two numbers that BOTH went unanswered. I had locked myself out of my room, and if it were for the incredible staff of Dutch's restaurant, I would have had to sleep on a couch in the lobby. I had to leave the lobby to enter the restaurant to flag down a restaurant manager who luckily had the hotel manager's information and was able to make a spare key. Fun fact - the restaurant is separate, and it does not have oversight into the hotel. If it weren't for friends who text, I would have been stranded. I can't thank the lovely staff at Dutch's enough. No one from the actual hotel ever got back to me. No response to my messages or calls. If you are not going to have a night person on staff at least have the decency to be responsive over the phone. These suites are large enough that's its really unacceptable.

When we checked in , on 10/17/24 , our room keys had not been programmed , so we had to go back to the office to have it done after having to carry our bags to the room. The room could not be accessed top with a luggage cart. On the second day , after returning from a day out , we couldn’t get into the room. The front desk person only programed it for one day , knowing we were to be there two days. I believe that this was done on purpose , since she was snotty with us , our entire stay. All in all a two day cheap motel experience for $400. We won’t be back !

We stayed in a studio loft unit with a good sized mini-kitchen and balcony. Very comfortable and well appointed, including a recliner. Decorating and bathroom fixtures in our unit were a tad dated, if you care about those things. Super clean, very nice staff. Public areas are nice, specially the big patio and lawn overlooking the dock and the lake itself.

We love staying at Silver Tree! We’ve stayed multiple times over the past few years, and we love that we can dock our boat there. Our interaction with staff was minimal, but we really didn’t need anything. Dutche’s is our absolute favorite restaurant at Deep Creek, and an added bonus for those staying at Silver Tree. My only criticism for this last stay, is that the weeds were out of control and property didn’t quite look as nice, walking around. Everything in the room and facility was very clean and nice.

Great location on the lake. Definitely quieter than some of the other places would have been given their proximity to the main road. Evening desk clerk and our maid were extremely helpful. The room felt homey yet upscale as well.

We had a wonderful stay. Room was clean and well furnished. Bar and restaurant were great, and the staff there is amazing! My only suggestion for improvement is that our balcony looked rather neglected, it had a broken table and was rather “webby”, just a quick sweeping would have been appreciated.
