My husband and I stayed here for a work trip. We stayed in room #3 and it exceeded expectations by far. From check-in to check-out everyone was so nice and helpful. The room itself was beautiful, chic, updated, clean and lots of character! I wont spoil all of the surprises they had there, but definitely recommend checking it out! 10/10. Location was perfect pricing was perfect and the rooms themselves were perfect. Very fancy! If you're deciding where to stay and read this, let this be a good sign to book there. We definitely will return!

Sugar Creek Inn offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, making it a great place to relax. The location is convenient for exploring the area. Highly recommend! Excellent hotel , excellent service A+++

The place is super clean and affordable. It's located in a very small Swiss inspired town with the world's largest coo coo clock. Unfortunately, it was closed for the winter. Also, all the interesting places in the town like the Alpine Hills Museum are closed temporarily. We believe most of the places here are seasonal. But throughout the day you can hear music playing in the town as you walk around and explore. The town is very tiny though and next thing you know, you reached the edge of the town.

Office was closed when we got here and when we left but no problems with anything.

I can not say enough about my visit to Sugar Creek the Inn is absolutely peace filled the down town area looks very classy and cozy! I even had the opportunity to speak with a lady officer of the law. Such a lovely place we will most definitely revisit. Adna thank you for everything your cable car set up is the blessing I needed to start 2025 off right

Unique, enjoyable one night stay in a caboose while we visited Amish country. Spotlessly clean and well maintained accommodations. Quiet location. Everything is upgraded to the highest standards and in good working order. 2 TV’s, cold A/C, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, small refrigerator, modern bathroom, stall shower, plenty of hot water. Super soft, fluffy towels and bed linens. Comfortable queen sized bed. Futon, dining table and bench seating in the living area. Two stools in the cupola (upstairs lookout) provide a unique place to sit and relax. Lots of windows and sunlight. All windows equipped with working shades for privacy. |Keep in mind this is all fit into a caboose, and there isn’t a lot of room to stretch out and move around. If you require a large space to “spread out”, you may be more comfortable in one of their standard hotel rooms. If you’re interested in a totally unique experience, this is it. There is only one caboose on the property so book your stay far in advance like we did. There is a guest book in the caboose you are invited to sign. Property owner is friendly, welcoming and delightful!

Amazing stay. Very nice staff. Extremely clean. Close to centre of sugar creek (walking distance). We stayed in train car which was very scenic. Would love to come again!

We stayed in the main house & the room was bigger & nicer than pictured & only a few blocks to the Main Street so it was an easy 5 minute stroll.. I love that they have the sink & mirror outside the bathroom so you can get ready while someone is showering. Also, the whole place smelled so clean & our room was spotless!! It is not super fancy but I value cleanliness above all else & you won’t be disappointed. Lastly, they offered to vacuum our room even though we were only there for 2 nights.

It’s 12:52am and I’m wide awake—not because of the hotel itself, which is actually quite nice—but because the business next door parked a refrigerated semi-trailer directly outside my hotel room. The diesel engine kicks on every 20 minutes and runs for about 10, creating a low, constant rumble that literally shakes the walls.

As a CDL driver myself, I was trained to be considerate about where and how I park—especially near people trying to sleep. I called the front desk to explain the situation, but my concerns fell on deaf ears.

It’s now been nearly a week with no follow-up or response from management, which gave me no choice but to leave an honest review. I paid to sleep, not to be kept up all night. This could have easily been handled better.

Looks like our room was recently remodeled. It's nice. Only complaint is the bed. It is extra firm and uncomfortable. Staying here 3 nights. One more night then I can finally get to a comfortable bed.
