The food here is fresh and so yummy. The waitress Sam is our favorite server and we go to her section every time. She's sweet and knows the menu. It got that old time feel, like grandma's place and it smells like grandma. Try the tomato pie thing.its delicious

This is an old house converted into a restaurant. Quint dining in a busy place. Small menu with a few select offerings. The biscuits and sausage gravy were delicious. The coffee is very good. The sausage tasted homemade but I was just guessing. Service was very good considering how much food they are preparing. Friendly and courteous staff.

Our waitress was very sweet!! She constantly checked on us. The food was okay cause we were very hungry at the time!! We order extra takeouts and was not pleased at all with those. Dumpling dinner I was excited about but I hardly got a dumpling ‍♀️. Mostly chopped up pieces of meat dark gravy and few pieces of broken up dumplings. Field peas taste like can peas not good at all. They use to have the best food years back. BUT…. I will add … the tomato pie was a HIT !!! Delicious. Best thing I ordered.

Got here an hour ago and put our food in. Still waiting on it. You’re basically touching the people beside you when seated. Need to hire new cooks because taking over an hour to make a waffle is crazy. Also, no parking at all. Not worth the wait. Table that’s been here over 1.5 hours JUST now received their food. Wow. If you have to do anything at all the rest of the day don’t come here because you’ll be waiting for hours.

This place has wonderful food. But I am baffled by what I witnessed. I was waiting for a to go order standing in front of the kitchen door. I witnessed an employee holding a tray of biscuits, picked up a biscuit WITH HER HANDS with no gloves to the next employee who had NO gloves, then to another employee to put the biscuit on a plate. That biscuit passed not once, not twice, but three times to employees with no gloves who touched multiple things in the kitchen. I did not see this only happen once but routinely. It’s sad because the food is good but that is disgusting. You will make people sick and this is not health protocol.

Had the pear salad - literally was half a pear on a piece of lettuce topped with mayonnaise, shredded cheese, and a cherry. To me that's just not edible but maybe I'm just too picky. But, I can't say I have tried anything else. So if you don't like lettuce, pear, and mayo together, I suggest you stay away from the pear salad - maybe they put a little more effort into their other food ‍♀️. I saw that I could post a picture and I did, cause believe me - I did not miss taking a pic of whatever in the heck that was. And the reason why I had this salad was because I am a vegetarian (dietary reasons) and this was basically their only no meat option, which shame on me for not eating meat I guess. But, I also think it's not too much to ask for a salad to be a little more than lettuce, pear, and mayo. Just a thought.

Gorgeous spot for a great southern breakfast!

One of the most pleasant breakfasts we’ve had in years! Lovely tables under the beautiful big trees outside, doggo was super happy, and so were we!

The food was amazing - everything homemade, right down to the jams and jellies. Adorable southern house turned restaurant, the people are really wonderful and welcoming, as are the other patrons. If I lived here, I’d be here every week. Absolutely beautiful!
