Harry (owner) is kind and personable. The serving sizes are very generous and prices are great. Harry adds his own flavor to staple dishes, definitely worth a try. He makes his sauce from scratch, but the pulled pork is so good I didnt need it. #shoplocal

Second time there and it was completely different from the first time. First time there I was served spare ribs, yesterday I was served much smaller baby back ribs. Wife got brisket sandwich on cornbread and there were legitimately 3 bites of brisket and a bunch of hard crispy crumbles of dried out bark. I got the ribs with my two sides being Mac & cheese and Cole slaw. The Mac & cheese was dry, crusty, and flavorless. The Cole slaw was soggy and very bitter-definitely old tasting. My four little ribs were delicious though
. The wife’s sides were Mac & cheese and green beans. Mac cheese was the same as mine and although she liked the green beans she asked about them and we found out they’re canned but it didn’t matter cause she did enjoy them. So overall, she liked her canned green beans and I liked my 4 ribs. The whole real problem here is that when it was time to pay, the lady said the total is $60!!!!!! And we didn’t purchase any drinks. $60 for 3 bites (bite size hunks) of brisket on cornbread waffle, 4 riblets, and 3 terrible sides and one decent canned side of green beans?!? NEVER again!

orderd on ubereats and got a very small portion of meat which was mostly fat. it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best. probably wouldn’t come here again.

My husband and I came in yesterday after an apt in Morgantown. We had the best meal and got a chance to talk to the owner. The food was absolutely delicious. The portions were large and it was fresh and hot. Would love to stop in again sometime . Thanks again for the great conversation!

Chef Harry is a really great guy and even better BBQ. By far best Mac n cheese I’ve had. Ribs were fabulous and conversation was even better. I appreciate the chefs value on quality sides along with properly made meats.

Alright, the best way I can explain this is when you go to an event and you have food truck food and it tastes like family made it. This is it. I came in here for a breakfast in a whim and I asked “off menu” protein and the guy himself made me an awesome mixed scrambled eggs. Some brisket on the side which was extremely flavorful and a side of his special pepperoni Mac and cheese which was one of those dishes that you take to a party and it’s gone on the first round. It’s that good. Food is like mom/dad/uncle makes at any special event. I’ll be back here.

The phrase "hidden gem" was made for this place! It's a casual, laid-back southern bbq joint - probably the best in morgantown, but I never would have found it if I wasn't next door getting my windshield repaired. Happiest coincidence ever! The people were so sweet and down to earth. The shop itself screams mom and pop with personality, which I personally love. Next time you're craving bbq, this place is it.

The brisket was tender, and the smoke taste came through amazingly. It was served in a waffle made from cornbread, which was the best waffle or cornbread I've had in literally years.

I had the yams and baked beans, both of which also benefitted from the beautiful smoke taste. The yams had a unique cinnamon brown sugar flavor that complimented the meat wonderfully.

I've been meaning to stop by this place when I'm taking my daughter to dance class next door and finally did today. Ended up with a pulled pork sandwich with Mac n cheese, potatoes, and baked beans. All of them are excellent. I don't even love BBQ all that much but it was very good. We lived in Houston for a while and there was this renound place there that everyone loved but the BBQ I had at this place was better.
