We stayed at the StoryBook Glade house a couple of weekends ago and it was absolutely beautiful! The house is in great condition, has a lot of character with all of the amenities you need for a weekend getaway, and was big enough for our small family, as well as another family that we were vacationing with. The owners of the house were extremely kind and communicative, which made everything from check-in to check-out very simple and easy. The location is lovely since it's only a few minutes outside of Hood River, but away from the busyness of the town, while being right on an orchard and across the street from a winery (which was a win for the two moms during nap time) 😉 Would definitely recommend!

I spent a weekend at Storybook Glade for a friend's Birthday and it was such a special and relaxing experience! The home is very well maintained and stocked with all the essentials and even more! The hosts were kind and responsive. The property is on a small orchard and very adorable. Very close to local wineries and downtown Hood River. Would highly reccomend!

StoryBook Glade is a truly special place. We found the house and property charming and restful. The mountain views from every window were stunning. The house was furnished tastefully with everything we needed. The proximity to Hood River was perfect (just far enough to be uniquely restful). We thoroughly enjoyed some treats from the orchard (apple sauce, apple butter, and some apricots that were in season). The owners were responsive and very friendly. We highly recommend this place.

StoryBook Glade was the perfect place to stay while we were in Hood River for a family wedding. The home is spacious and is in a beautiful setting where you can look out on Mt. Hood and are in close proximity to orchards, vineyards, and a quick drive to downtown. The house had everything we needed including a pack-n-play, stocked kitchen, iron and ironing board, laundry and great outdoor spaces. They even had left us jars of applesauce from their orchard. My kids spent most of their time in rocking chairs on the porch. There were also lots of board games, cards, and puzzles which is always a treat when you're with a group. I hope to return sometime soon!

We had a wonderful quick family gathering at Storybook Glade. It is perfect for a family gathering, with a large dining table and kitchen and plenty of room for everyone. The location is beautiful with views of Mt Adams and Mt Hood and all the surrounding orchards.
