Absolutely disgusting and dirty rooms. Will be filing a conplaint with Virginia Department of Health. don't know how they are still in business. Mold in the showers, sheets are clearly stained with body fluids and are old and dirty. Floor hasn't been washed in over a month for sure. Any surface you look at is dirty. Avoid at any and all cost. Also I read through the reviews looks like the owner had a bunch of family and friends post 5 stars to make it seem be then it is. Any review that says "Stonewood Inn & Suites" as part of the review is clearly fake as normal people don't write like that. Will add photos later to show how bad it was

This was the worst hotel stay that I have ever stayed! The suite had dirty furniture. I didn't even sit on the couch or the chair. It smells like a old batch of collards! I didn't sleep at all. No water pressure in the sink. The show was stuck on. You couldn't even adjust the water temperature if you need to. The mattress cover was a warn piece of material. It was so nasty and worn! Just filthy! It was awful! The mattress on the bed was hard and the blanket had cigarette burn holds. Just filth! My friend who booked the room was so embarrassed! Puke!

At this location if you pay with cash the incidental fee is $100. I've been in and out of hotels for two years and that fee is always $50. EVERY hotel, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News. This location charges $100. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, HUNGRY FOR MONEY...report this location to the BBB.

Absolutely disgusting. Puddle in floor, piss and hair on toilet seat!!! Did not shower or sleep on filthy stained sheets. Toilet didn't flush. Do not stay here

Don't stay here if you have a choice. I stayed in room 227. Toilet was clogged (and nasty), no hot water, and the sheets are stained and I was itchy immediately upon laying down.
Fridge doesn't close all the way. Went to front desk, waited 30 minutes for someone to show up and when a guy did he told me there were no other rooms and refused to talk further.

Stonewood Inn & Suites of Carrollton - Smithfield is a gem. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the staff goes out of their way to ensure guests have everything they need. The breakfast was particularly enjoyable.

My family & I got 2 rooms for 1 night but we didn’t last 30 minutes in that HORRIBLE hotel. The room my children were in did not have AC. The room my husband and I was in was absolutely DISGUSTING. The mini fridge had remnants of previous guests in it. The floor was filthy and the bedding is stained with God knows what. When I went to the front desk to request a refund I was told I could only get a refund for the room that had no AC. I would give this place ZERO stars but that is not an option. The ONLY good thing about this establishment was the lady at the front desk. She was very pleasant despite having a slum lord of a manager running the hotel.
