We were in town for my Dad's funeral in Buckhannon. After considering home share rentals and hotel options we decided this was the best option for our family and I'm so glad we did! The three bedroom cottage 2 was a perfect fit for us and gave us space to spend time together. The staff were so lovely and sent us both fruit and charcuterie trays with a thoughtful note of condolence. After my Dad's service we were able to enjoy the property and relax with a hike and even a game of scrabble from the on site library. The food at TJ Muskie's and Stillwaters was delicious. A big thank you to the staff!

Stonewall has a beautiful lodge with a vast fireplace. A quiet library and beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area. There are lots of child friendly activities in location and nearby excursions available also. Outdoors includes a lengthy patio with a firepit adjacent to the hot tub and an indoor/outdoor pool. It’s a very relaxing and enjoyable place for a get away trip.

Highly recommended resort. It is quiet, natural, and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

When you walk in the place, you will see a large lobby where offers many comfy seats by a big fireplace.

There are beautiful trails around the lodge to enjoy and they are safe.

Me and my family stayed in the cabins on the lake, they were very nice. However there were some small things like hair on the walls in the shower, lights not working sometimes, and spiderwebs in closets and stuff like that. The first night we got Stillwater(one of the restaurants in the main building) and it was oriented towards a buffet type style however you could also order off a menu. I got the buffet and it was okay. The food had been left out for a while, and while it was a buffet it was honestly disgusting. The breakfast food was fine the next morning but it had that flavor and texture of left out food. The pools and other facilities are nice, the pool is rather humid, but it was to be expected with a hot tub next to it. It was rather hard to find places it was definitely more of a figure it out yourself, we didn't get any information on where anything was or how to get things and to places. The overall experience was nice and would probably come again just maybe bring my own food.
(Edit, staff is so amazing, they're super nice and they help with everything.)

Everything was great for us except the bathroom - It needs a lot of updates. Overall, it’s a beautiful place and so calm and relaxing. The golfing was great, even for the rainy season. The staff was extremely friendly everywhere we went which made the experience wonderful.

Have enjoyed my two days here relaxing! Had a great massage today and enjoyed some of the hiking trails while my husband worked. I really like the low key feel that helps you relax. The Wild & Wonderful Burger was fantastic at TJ Muskies.
