Stone Gables is by far the nicest B&B we have experienced! This was for a belated 25th anniversary trip for us. Travis was very accommodating and is thoroughly knowledgeable about the surrounding towns and go-to spots to further accent our stay. We stayed in the Bear's Den and we could not have asked for a cleaner and more cozy room. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. You can sense and feel that these folks desire to serve others and they do it so well. We will be back to experience the grounds when the weather is a touch better. Thanks and we'll see you again soon!

My husband & I recently enjoyed a getaway here to celebrate our anniversary. Stone Gables certainly exceeded our expectations! I cannot recommend it highly enough. I promise—the reviews are not hype! This place is a hidden GEM! We had the most magical experience for our 14th wedding anniversary. The inn is gorgeous, cozy, meticulously decorated and exceptionally clean. We stayed in the Leesburg room and it was perfect - cozy and comfortable. Travis is attentive and so personable. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect anniversary celebration. I can’t wait to come back.

Like others have mentioned, this is one of the nicest bed and breakfast we have stayed at. It is so homey, and so clean. Travis is such an amazing host, and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed in The Hunt room, and it was spacious and very clean. The location is perfect, quiet and close to wineries. It is about 12 minutes from downtown. We will stay here again for sure.

This Bed & Breakfast was AMAZING! The place is beautiful, extremely clean and tucked away in the perfect location. Travis is a great host and cooks a damn good breakfast! I would recommend this place to anyone. The wife and I will be back for another weekend getaway.

We booked the entire inn (5 rooms) for 2 days for wedding prep and to provide housing for bridesmaids, the owner was super nice and helpful, the breakfast were delicious and everything went smoothly! They had enough wall plugs for my makeup team of 3, which was a delightful surprise. Already recommeded to all my friends and colleagues.

Traveling for work, I tend to prefer B and Bs over chain hotels when possible. Stone Gables would make Norm from This Old House proud. Rooms are comfy and nookish, with a friendly and responsive staff. Four rooms, each different but comfortably equipped. I stayed in winter, like visiting your own little snow globe.

My wife and I recently celebrated our 50th anniversary at Stone Gables. Travis and Frances are amazing hosts. The room, food, location and service was amazing. Highly recommend!
