As someone who’s seasoned in the art of stumbling upon culinary hidden gems, my encounter with Stephanie’s felt like striking gold in the world of roadside dining.

From the outside, Stephanie’s may trick you into thinking it’s just another quaint little hole-in-the-wall. But oh, step up to the window and prepare for a flavor fiesta that’ll have you questioning your life choices—particularly why you don’t eat here more often.

The menu at Stephanie’s (apparently hand written each day and taped to the window) is like a love letter to comfort food.

The fried chicken? Let’s just say it’s the kind of dish that could start family feuds. It’s so crispy, juicy, and utterly delectable that you'll momentarily forget your name.

Chicken tender sandwich is a revelation—each tender is so generously sized, they seem to have been pilfered from a chicken on steroids. Trust me, you’ll need both hands, possibly a friend, and the unhinging of your jaw to tackle this beast.

But the real showstopper? The fried pork chop sandwich. This marvel of culinary prowess is so transcendentally delicious, it'll have you side-eyeing your mom’s home cooking with a mix of resentment and betrayal. “Why, mom, why?” you’ll whisper, as you savor every bite of Stephanie’s pork perfection, mourning all the years spent without it. Okay, so you DO have to be careful since the bone is left it - but that just gives you something to gnaw on toward the end - it eases the disappointment of your delicacy being gone.

Wait... Did I mention they actually KNOW hushpuppies? Cause they do!

In short, Stephanie’s might look unassuming from the curb, but it dishes out a knockout punch of flavor that’s as surprising as finding out your quiet neighbor is a karaoke champion.

So, if your road trips are marked by a quest for the epicurean Holy Grail, make a pit stop at Stephanie’s. Your taste buds will thank you, and your mom might just forgive you for your newfound culinary infidelity.

Great little place to bring your kids to eat and enjoy ice cream during the heat. The service is amazing from the cashiers, to the cooks and the owner. Everyone treats you like family and you will always have a great time! Good food takes time, so I don’t understand why some people are so impatient with you guys, but I know chicken, fish and pork chops take time to cook and I do not mind waiting for fresh food like you guys do every time! That’s why I come out to eat, is to actually enjoy my food and when it comes out fresh like you guys make it, I will always be satisfied. Bring your kids, take your loved ones, or just go and enjoy some great food and service! Steph also sells other things outside the restaurant for your gardens, front yards and porches. COMPLETELY WORTH IT!!!

I’ve only eaten here once so far. The quality of the food is top notch. The service is order at the window & seat yourself, then food brought to you, or wrapped up to go. Stop in for a quick bite & eat whole meal plus dessert if you can.

My food was ok, we waited waaaayyy too long for food, only 6 people in the restaurant so it wasn’t busy. Fried Chicken was pretty good but his chicken sandwich was pink and uneatable. Extremely overpriced! It’s definitely a 1 and done for us

Food is good, but working there is shady. You're payed under the table, and I was led on for 3 weeks with the owner telling me to keep in touch so she could tell me a day to start back at my shifts. I left for another job the last time I was told to wait. Cashiers have no patience as well.
