We stayed here for three days. The room was clean, warm, & quiet. There's heating & air conditioning as needed. In room cable or satellite television. I'm not sure which. In room micro refrigerator. We never got the chance to sample the restaurant, though when we checked in, the restaurant smelled heavenly. The restaurant service is time limited. There are other restaurant choices on the same block. Everyone we interacted with was courteous, kind, & professional. I recommend sampling what Star Hotel and Restaurant has to offer. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Great location on Main Street. Eating options nearby and in the hotel itself (we did not manage to try the hotel restaurant as we arrived too late but had great early breakfast just next door). Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Setting is a bit dated, especially with carpeting, but otherwise all very good. Room was spacious enough. Big and clean bathroom. Staff was helpful and arranged a late arrival with no problem. Excellent place to stay if you are anywhere near Franklin. Would love to stay here again. Thanks!

This review is for the restaurant, not the hotel. We had lunch in the restaurant and did not stay in the hotel. Fast, friendly and efficient. I stopped here on a cross-country motorcycle ride with four friends. We popped in for lunch. The restaurant is beautiful. The decor is interesting, clean and well kept. The service with a smile was absolutely perfect. We all ordered chef salads and they were robust and delicious. Keep up the great work!

Restaurant only, Well managed, Good food, it's good to find places like these that are still open. Steak sandwich was very small. But I would recommend this place and I would come again

It's such an awesome restaurant. I highly recommend the chef salad and club sandwich. Also, the soup is so tasty.
Also, the owner and staff are incredibly nice and helpful.

My 2 children and I drove over 5 hours to get the Franklin due to 81 being shutdown. There are not a lot of places to eat which is expected for a small town. My kids and I thought the food was great. The service was excellent and it has a great atmosphere. I would definitely eat here again.

Awesome food, incredible experience. The ribeye steak was perfectly seasoned and prepared. The chicken Parmesan tasted great. Reasonable prices and service with a smile. The waitress even remembered us from our visit almost a year ago.

Nice rooms think of it like an old boarding house style. But with nice comfy beds and beautiful furniture. I was arriving after they would be going home for the day so I got a pass code and was left a key for my room access. Nice quaint little town, And very friendly residents. The food was wonderful at the restaurant next door and I look forward to visiting the restaurant here in the future. I recommend making a reservation at least a couple days in advance, and not counting on just showing up and catching someone. Will definitely be a frequent visitor when I'm passing through with work.
