Old Motor Lodge that was completely renovated. Nicely done. Clean. Modern. Simple. Nice fire pits in the middle called “The Isalnd”. Dog friendly but you must pay a $35 charge, which is silly. Free hot tea, yogurt, oatmeal and a breakfast crumb cake. Free EV charger too! Thank you for that.

We were on a little road trip and decided to stay in Paso Robles for a night. The Stables Inn was a perfect place to stay. It is beautifully decorated with fun accents using the horse theme. Even though our room backed the main street we did not hear any of the traffic noise. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was small but lovely. The owner has great design taste and has covered every detail to make the place just right. It is set up like a motel so that the cars are parked in front of the rooms which makes it easy to unload and load our car. We also appreciate that they allow dogs. There is a lovely seating area right in the parking area with lounge chairs and fire pits. They serve coffee, yogurt, instant oatmeal and some kind of baked good in the lounge area next to the check in. We will look forward to staying there in the future.

Really cute Inn. The rooms are small, but very well appointed and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the fire pits in the evening. We traveled with our pet as well, bring your doggie bed, bowls, etc., as they are not provided. However, very dog friendly, treats at the front desk. Just a note, dogs can't be left alone in the room. They offer a "to go" breakfast, which consists of fresh coffee cake, yogurt or oatmeal. Which is great for having a little something to start the day. Hotel is walking distance to downtown Paso Robles. Very cute area. Nice park, shops and restaurants. No pool or jacuzzi, if that is important to you. It's was perfect for us as a starting point for exploring the surrounding area.

On our way to Carmel to see family, we decided to break up the trip & stay the night in Paso Robles. So glad we did! We chose Stables Inn specifically because it is dog friendly. Check in was easy & they did a great job with the remodel. Very cute place. Bed was comfy & the place was not too crowded since it was a weekday. Some other reviewers complained of noise but it was peaceful & we travel with earplugs jic. The fire pits in the middle of the place was a nice touch & we saw guests using them throughout the evening. Didn’t see dog amenities but I didn’t look either since we brought everything for him. Stables Inn was close to a park in the center of town so perfect to take the dog on his walks. Tip: Go to TASTE for dinner. Will leave a more detailed review for them but they were super delicious & GF & DF for my spouse. Even a GF dedicated fryer. And dog friendly.

What an amazing find. Could not recommend this place more. Walkable to the downtown area but also has so much character on its own. The room was spotless and well maintained and the outdoor fire pits and seating areas were such a bonus. We also loved having coffee in their campfire mugs and delicious coffee cake in the morning. This place was really such a great find - and very affordable! can’t wait to come back.

We had high hopes coming into Paso Robles for a couple of nights. The Stables Inn was disappointing. The photos on the website are a bit misleading. The motel is - and feels - like it is on a busy road. When we arrived the weather was unseasonably hot. Like 105 degrees hot (obviously the hotel can’t do anything about that). We had been in the car for five hours and had a young kid in tow. I asked the pleasant person at the front desk about local swimming pools and she said she’d look up some options and let me know (helpful!). When I swung back around, she had left for the day. There was a new person behind the desk who said she couldn’t give me any recommendations. About anything. She said she had never even eaten in town once. Which seemed weird, since people working the desk at a hospitality establishment should, in theory, have a working knowledge of the area. We bailed on our second night at the hotel and fled the heat and the cheap bedsheets. The place looks cute from the outside, but I’d caution you to lower your expectations.

Walkable to downtown area, rooms are beautifully done - simple & western funky theme, live the graphic art. Firepit in center was nice to gluant out at & they supplied glasses for wine. The sweet bread was nice in the morning as was (surprisingly) the drip coffee. We actually enjoyed it & we’re not usually interested in drip coffee. Highly recommend - a bit pricey but more affordable & better prices & deals for mid-week days. Book in advance - always sold out!

This place is cute. I was very excited when I booked this place. It’s located off of Spring St which is the old historic Hwy 101. It’s small, cute, intimate. It’s decorated in a tasteful simple, yet modern farmhouse decor. You can park directly in front of your room. I came for a concert. Ate afterwards, so all I wanted to do was wash off the nights makeup, shower & go to bed. I was shocked to my horror to see red marks in the middle of the bed. I did a complete Yelp review on it. I will say to be fair, the management called me and credited me $60 on my card all things considered. Go read that review for the deets
