This was so much fun! My friend and I stayed in the Geiger Suite, on the main floor. It was very spacious, and had a beautiful view of the river from the huge enclosed "porch", the bathroom Jacuzzi, and outer private deck . There's a huge deck below for all guests, but we never saw anyone else sit there. The gas fireplace in the King bedroom added beauty to the already gorgeous room, filled with Van Gogh art. The breakfast was delicious, and great view from ALL the windows!
The hostess, Roxy, was so helpful with suggestions for food and drinks, most within walking distance, but we really loved just hanging out here instead...so peaceful and quiet.

My husband and I stayed in the Birch room. Check-in was easy and we were welcomed to a lovely staff. The room was tidy, clean, and the view was amazing. Close to a lot of antique stores and bars/grills, we enjoyed the short hikes and history minutes away. The breakfast was definitely a highlight of my husband and I’s stay, especially due to the locally sourced ingredient’s and freshness. I would recommend this place over any of the other inns. However, I would not recommend bringing kids as the atmosphere seemed more geared to adults(that meaning quiet and calm). We will be coming back here soon! We have stayed here twice now in the Cascade King suite. We love it! ||One night stay in the summer: |Walked to a very nice hiking spot with waterfalls, walked to an amazing restaurant, the inn serves you breakfast and we ate it on our private deck.||One night stay in the winter: cute Christmas lights, we drove a 3 minute drive to a nice restaurant, brought a board game which we played by the window of our suite that overlooks the river. Nice fireplace in Cascade King suite.||BEST PILLOWS! Fireplace, smart TV. Super comfy linens on the bed.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The location and the view were beautiful. The rooms were clean, and a great mix of historical and modern. The house is rich in St. Croix valley history. Great location between restaurants, wineries, breweries, hiking and waterfalls. The hosts were amazing. So kind, welcoming, and helpful. The morning breakfast was delicious. They had hot, fresh coffee brewing right away in the morning which paired well with the morning views over the river. They made our stay truly amazing. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay here again!

I have been here twice now and both times have been absolutely magical. This is my happy place. Comfy beds, Jacuzzi tubs and overlooking the river... This place has it all. Home made breakfast each morning with local ingredients is also amazing. The owners are so sweet and welcoming. I will continue to come back for years to come!

Loved this place! So peaceful! Great view of the River! The whole place, including our room, was lovely! We had our own little deck. We had a nice gas fireplace in our room. Everything was so clean and fresh! Roxy was so friendly and helpful! We were served a very nice breakfast in a lovely space with a view of the river. There was a wide variety of beverages available for a reasonable fee. (The coffee and tea were free.) We walked from the inn to the downtown area.

Great stay here! The breakfasts were great, rooms were clean, shower was hot. We had restful and comfortable sleep. Very lovely layout and hospitality was top notch. Roxy and Tim were accommodating to us arriving late and everything. We’d definitely stay here again. This was the best accommodations our whole trip.

Our room was spacious and very clean as was the rest of the inn. Roxy is a wonderful host and very accommodating. She always had time for a visit. Breakfast was always delicious and multiple serving times were offered. It’s walking distance to shops and restaurants and a short drive to multiple trails and other attractions. We will stay here the next time we are in this area.
