Spuds Chow Hall is okay, but it doesn’t compare to Marine Corps chow halls. One of the biggest drawbacks is that you’re only allowed one plate, which doesn’t really make sense to me—especially when Marine Corps chow halls let you eat as much as you want. The food itself is decent, but the portion restriction is a big downside. It’s not terrible, but it could definitely be better.

I ordered normal crust pizza and I’ve got it thin. They said sometimes it doesn’t rise in an oven. This crust doesn’t look that it cans be risen.

The bar is nice, and there is plenty to do and play. Comfortable environment tho the bar stools can hurt your legs. Service was great food is good. I recommend the pizza & bbq flatbread.

Spuds requires you to wear the uniform of the day to take food carry out. This is like McDonald's requiring you to wear your uniform to order through the drive thru. Management needs to get their stuff together and realize they aren't in charge of the military. I didn't serve my country to be told by a civilian employee what I have ti wear to get food.

Walked in here trying to grab some healthy food, and was told I had to be in uniform. To get food to go. On a Sunday. This was after 8 hours of driving at the end of my PSC travel. Not a very warm welcome to a base I was already depressed about being stationed at. So I went across the street and gave my money to McDonalds.

I'm happy to report they finally fixed online ordering. I got a cheese pizza and meat lovers pizza. The chicken wingdings are my favorite. The pizza is good but not great. Possibly needs to be cooked more or more pizza sauce is needed. The delivery driver was very nice though.
