I would have given it five stars but they don't have a microwave in the room next to the mini fridge and at breakfast they had all these wonderful bagels but no regular cream cheese!! I got to breakfast at 7:15am and all they had was strawberry cream cheese which I tried and hated. I asked them if they had any and they said no, sorry. Huge disappointment.
The rooms are great. Beds are comfortable and everything is very clean! Loved the pool area. Indoor pool is nice and is actually a decent depth unlike many places that now only have 4 ft or less pools. So bonus points on the pool.

The shower is great. Plenty of clean towels. TV is huge and nice.

It would have been perfect if they had just had cream cheese with the bagels!!

Great stay! Clean, simple, modern and great service! Christine needs to be acknowledged for exhibiting a level of professionalism on both the phone and in person, unseen since before the plan demic. I stay in a hotel every night and it's almost impossible to get most to answer the phone at all, much less answer in such a professional manner.

Good location in terms of offerings, four eateries available within very short walking distance. Rooms are clean and large, no funky smells, dusty cracks, or mysterious stains to be found. We had an ADA king room and it seemed to be strong in accommodations with things like a shower seat, easy to grab poles for the curtains, and height conscious shelving and grab bars. AC was a quick heat up/cool down with consistent temperatures. Bed is soft and comfortable with nice sheets—may be one of the best hotel mattresses I’ve come across. Staff was polite and always greeted us each time we passed.

Main downer is that the water heat is subpar. Now, while I personally enjoy a good boil, my spouse is much more heat conscious and it felt too cool for him as well when at max temperature. The windows also appear to not be sound dampening, which was noticeable but not necessarily an issue. I specifically requested a room away from the elevator since I’m a little more noise sensitive, and even though on the top floor I heard sirens easily, it wasn’t a major problem for rest. Doors do slam at no fault of the guests, so keep that in mind if you need a soundproof box to fall asleep.

Overall, we’d return even with the issues in mind, but we wouldn’t be against exploring other options too.

My stay at Spark was overall decent, but there were a few drawbacks. The check-in staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made for a great first impression. However, none of the other staff members were particularly welcoming or engaging.

The rooms were clean and modern, but it’s evident that Spark is a more budget-friendly hotel. No carpet in the rooms, only tissues in the bathroom, a metal chair was the only seating. They don’t offer a hot breakfast, but there are plenty of other options to choose from.

One major issue I noticed was in the breakfast area—despite a clear sign stating “no dogs,” I saw a guest carrying his dog directly over the food while he got his breakfast- taking twice as long because he only had the other hand - while multiple employees walked by, one even greeting him, without addressing it. As a dog lover, I still find mixing pets and public food unacceptable, and it was disappointing that the staff ignored it.

On the plus side, the hotel is in a great central location, close to all kinds of shops and numerous restaurants, with some within walking distance.

If you’re looking for a clean and affordable stay with friendly front desk service in a convenient location, Spark is a reasonable choice. However, better attention to policies and guest experience would make it a stronger option.

Sisters and husbands stayed 1 night while traveling together.|Very clean, well maintained, very comfortable bed, wonderful, safe shower (slightly slippery-our down a hand towel for safety) well appointed amenities and toilets! ( |(iron, ironing board and hair dryer.|We were very happy to have great tables and chairs in breakfast area to use for an evening of a game of cards! As well as 24 hours of coffee, tea and hot chocolate.|At check in we received two bottles of water for each couple.|All around good stay! I highly recommend this hotel.

Wouldn’t recommend for more than a few days because of the setup, but for what we needed it served its purpose. We rented several rooms this weekend and all rooms were clean and nice. This is definitely a budget hotel so don’t expect much. No drawers, no coffee maker in room (but there’s coffee served at all times in the lobby), the blackout curtains aren’t so blackout and the mini fridge had an annoying buzzing sound. Corner rooms have a huge bathroom which was a plus for me and they accommodated my dog who needed to take the trip with us. I must say the staff here is super nice and all are attentive. The service alone would bring me back. Pool was out of service but we knew that when we booked and it really wasn’t that kind of trip anyway. Free breakfast was meh, but there are tons of restaurants in the area. At the hotel the options include apples, Jimmy Deans breakfast sandwiches, vanilla yogurt, plain bagels, cereal, orange juice and oatmeal. Again it is a budget hotel so don’t expect much but it will serve its purpose. The breakfast area is clean and the staff consistently pays attention to clean and stock it. There’s also a few things you can buy on site in terms of snacks and beverages but no bar and no real outside seating besides a bench or one picnic table to the side of the parking. Thankful to how the staff treated my entire family during this stay! Appreciate the flexibility everyone we encountered gave us.

Rooms are large and clean, comfy bed and nice shower products. Available indoor pool, gym, and decent continental breakfast as well as being across the street from many food options. Convenient to 81 if you need a place to crash while driving through. Good value for the cost.

I am rating the hotel so well based on value. I've stayed three times and it's been cheaper than the nearby Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn, both properties that I have liked when I stayed at them. Room was large and the property is new, large and new bathroom, I had a couch with stool, moveable table. It had more than I expected for what's been labeled as a budget hotel. As mentioned in other reviews there's no dresser and I wouldn't choose this property if on a business trip and planning to do a lot on a computer, since the "desk" just has a stool. The whole property is new and in good condition and I like the water bottle refill station. They have been responsive to the room presences I've given.
