Our room was spot clean…tub, sink, shower etc. No old smells in the room! The room was warm and inviting. More spacious than we thought. The spa tub was our favorite. Bath salts and bath bombs were provided! Perfect room for a romantic getaway.

So....this Hotel...very sweet ....very Arizona! we had a fireplace in our room! Just remember its not a fancy Marriott like my Daughter and Hubby stayed...but charming just the same! Continental breakfast ok ..Location...Perfect....daughter and I walked all over.... but you do need a car (or Uber) to some of the awesome places! We hiked @ the amazing church ...Cant remember the name its built right into the Red rocks! That hike is challenging I might add!

We spent 3 nights at the Southwest Inn for a long weekend of hiking and sightseeing. We loved the location that made it easy to access every part of the region and avoid the traffic if needed. We liked the tasteful and unique decor of our room and the fireplace. Breakfast was nice but it’s a good idea to get there when they open before the pancakes and omelettes disappear. The staff were very attentive and professional. A great choice for travelers on a budget.

After hiking all day on the South Kaibab Trail in the Grand Canyon, we were exhausted and making the late drive to Sedona.  When we received a call from a staff member of the Southwest Inn in Sedona.  He was doing a welfare check on us.   When we arrived, he had extra pillows ready for our tired bodies. When does that happen these days.  It was a touch of  class rarely seen anymore. ||The large room was excellent with a fireplace and a private balcony that gave us a great view of the Sedona mountains. ||My wife loved the breakfast omelet and pancakes.  We stayed in three hotels over our five day trip to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. They were all very nice, but the Southwest Inn in Sedona was the best. ||Bill from Clewiston

Southwest Inn is a charming and comfortable home away from home. We stayed in the Anasazi suite, a spacious king bedroom suite with a living room area, a fireplace, nice counterspace with a mini-fridge, and a large bathroom. I loved the fireplace, comfy bed, wood beams at the ceilings, and Southwest decor! The boutique has amenities including a hot tub and heated pool. Parking is available right by your room. There is breakfast available in the same building as the check in desk. My only wish is that the bathroom had hooks and/or towel bars for wet towels and clothes. I would definitely recommend booking here for your stay in Sedona!

My dad and I recently stayed at this hotel.

We paid about $230 CAD per night which is a bargain for Sedona.

It included a big legitimate free breakfast which includes burritos, pancakes, cereal, fruit, and a yogurt machine.

If you need to go somewhere before 7am breakfast time, you are encouraged to take extra muffins with you.

The gym is just a treadmill, a couple weights, and a mat. It's better than nothing, but people might feel misled seeing this labeled as a 'gym' when booking.

Beautiful views from the balcony and breakfast room.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

25 minute walk from the West Sedona Park and Ride.

There is a pizza restaurant on the other side of the parking lot open until 9pm.

Room is beautifully decorated and has a fridge and has body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

The Sedona Shuttle Connect picked us up from this hotel within a couple minutes upon booking.

We will stay here again.

Note to contact them ahead of time if you are checking in or out outside of 7am-11pm.

There is a heated pool and a tiny hot tub. People were using it.

Hotel was very quiet. We didn't see many people.

This is a nice place to stay, but the service is lacking and for that reason, I will not be returning. They have some things to work on.

The room is nice. I enjoyed the fireplace, although I thought it was going to be a wood-burning fireplace and not a gas one, but it was still nice. I rented a king room with a jet tub. There was hair in there, but I always bring my own wipes and cleaned it before I got in. It took me a long time to find the button to turn it on and there was no one working to ask for assistance. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a throw I used to stay warm, it also had a hair on it. The mini-fridge is super mini, so do not bring a lot to store. There is no microwave in the room.

CONS:
They email and text several times prior to have you check-in virtually. If you're worried someone won't show, just charge in full for the room to begin with. I was working and it was really annoying. You obviously still have to stop at the desk when you get there.

The front desk leaves early so if you need anything after that you are out of luck. I was there Friday thru Sunday and had a package delivered by Amazon a couple of hours after check-in and they did not call me to get it (as told by person who actually was at the desk, but I assume left after I checked in) or bring it by to my room.

If you need to charge your EV, you have to get something from the front desk. They were not there whenever I needed to hookup. I saw no other cars charging, probably for the same reason.

I paid for late check-out. Just know they will have no clue and knock on your door (which has a DO Not Disturb sign on it) while you are sleeping in and call you several times at 11:30am to tell you to get out because they are clueless. So, they couldn't make it to my room to bring me my package, but they sure made it there to tell me to get the hell out incorrectly at 11:30am that Sunday! Even after I told the person knocking on my door that I had late checkout, instead of them checking, they continued to call and tell me to get out. This is one of my greatest pet peeves to be awakened when I have paid for late checkout. I left tired and frustrated instead of zen and relaxed as I had planned.

There are a lot of nice options here in Sedona, so I will not be returning for these reasons.

Great little spot, lovely rooms with a fire place for warming up after a walk, and despite looking out of the car park - the view of the mountains beyond that is lovely. Each room has a patio or balcony for checking out the stars at night, and very walkable areas close to cafes, breweries and trail heads 🙂
