Make sure you get their desserts! The Key Lime Cake is delish!! This place definitely lives up to its name! Definitely a locals favorite place and will have a bit of a wait on the weekends but the large portions and friendly service makes it worth it. There is a rustic heartiness that makes this comfort breakfast food very endearing. I got their Southern Fried Chicken and the portion did not skimp! Classic flavors and your choice of sides. I ended up getting some Sweet Potato Fries and Coleslaw, but in hindsight should have went with Collard Greens and Mashed Potatoes! Also, the fun playful decor just adds to its charm!

I definitely recommend!

Summary: Excellent breakfast, fast service, friendly staff, decent prices.

Food: $14.99 I ordered the special on the board, “chicken fried chicken with two sides (and sausage gravy).” I chose hash browns (well done) and grits. The chicken was crispy and tender, the grits were tasty and the hashbrowns tasted like fresh potatoes. I got the sausage gravy on the side and it pulled everything together nicely. The unsweet tea was fresh and refilled without asking. The chicken and hashbrowns did not have that typical fried or greasy taste or feel, which is a welcome change from other place’s standard breakfast fare.

Parking: There is a good sized parking lot with handicapped parking, it does get busy.

Seating: There is a main dining room with tables and chairs, and a smaller one with tables, chairs and a gorgeous breakfast bar with sturdy wooden chairs.

Service: Welcoming and friendly staff. Rena (Ren-A) was welcoming and explained the menu and the specials to me as I was a new customer. She checked in on me, asked if I needed anything.

Atmosphere: For the amount of people that came in, it was still pretty quiet, several solo diners, besides myself at the bar area, and a mix of tourists and locals from what I could hear around me.

Was packed, but still sat us in about 15 min. Food was great, local diner charm for sure! Dee was fantastic, my kiddos loved how sweet she was. My husband and I were entertained by the signs! 🤩

Wow.. what a breakfast…. One friendly warning: the portions are HUGE! Especially the pancakes and the biscuits- we wanted to eat it all, but just couldn’t fit it. The southern eggs Benedict with fried chicken was INCREDIBLE. It was a special on the menu, so if they have it when you go, get it! The coffee was perfectly hot…. The potatoes were delicious (home fries or hash browns, can’t go wrong). The French toast was also scrumptious. Worth the wait! Yummy! And Cindy was fantastic!

See love trying new places whenever we are out of town and this breakfast/brunch restaurant is a must if you are in the Cap Canaveral area. Great food, amazing service, and a country feel. If you’re looking for comfort food, it’s here!

If you’re looking for a cozy, home-style dining experience, Southern Charm Cafe is the place to be! From the moment we walked in, the hospitality felt like coming home to Grandma’s or your favorite auntie’s house. The warmth and friendliness of the staff made us feel right at home.

The food was absolutely delightful. The biscuits were huge and fluffy, and the grits were perfectly creamy—no need to add a thing, just enjoy with a spoon. We had a very large party of 20 after leaving the port, and they accommodated us without any issues. The portions are generous, ensuring everyone leaves satisfied.

A special shoutout for their military/veteran discount, which we greatly appreciated. They even celebrate you on your special day, getting the entire restaurant involved in the celebration, making it an unforgettable experience.

Highly recommend Southern Charm Cafe for anyone looking for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

The food and almost more importantly, the staff, were absolutely wonderful. My coworker and I stumbled upon this place thanks to Google Maps so here I am leaving a review. My chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns and biscuit with gravy were 5-star.

My coworker said the rueben was delicious as well.

Cute little restaurant that is loved by the locals! The place was packed! Had a very short wait, then we were then seated. Dee and Cindy were right on top of things getting drinks, telling us the specials, then getting our order in. Plenty of food that smells and tastes good! We will be back!
