My partner and I stayed for a weekend getaway, I wish there was an option for more than 5 stars.
Our stay was exceptional. Accommodations, recommendations, truly personalized to meet our every need. The food was top notch, snacks upon arrival were delicious and paired perfectly with local wine. The breakfast spread in the morning was to die for, carefully prepared to meet our allergy needs.
Our room was so wonderful, spacious, pristine, and the bed was like sleeping in a cloud.
Location couldn’t have been better for the visiting the caverns and exploring downtown. Hands down the best B&B we have ever stayed at!

Charming, lovely, classic and that just starts describing the hosts. The inn instills a sense of calm and serenity. The attention to detail is inspiring. We stayed in the Huntsman. Each room is themed. Mass cudos to Shannon who not only is one of the host/owners but is an excellent chef as well. Breakfast each morning was creative, ample and most of all absolutely delicious! Excellent venue for couples, solo or friends. I am already trying to figure out how (and when) we can return.

We really enjoyed our stay here and both decided it really was one of the nicest bed and breakfasts we have visited. The decor, room theming, breakfasts and afternoon snacks were beyond our expectations. My husband loved all the little hidden touches in the Expeditionist room-almost like being in an Escape Room looking for clues! And it really did have the comfiest chair in the house. The hosts were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. We spent a day hiking on Skyline Drive and returned to a nice dinner at the Chophouse. The only sad note of our anniversary weekend was that the Main Street Flavors ice cream shop was not open during our visit. But the rest of the weekend more than made up for it. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful place to stay - I have been telling everyone that they need to make a trip to Luray VA just for the Bed and Breakfast. Shannon and Joe were phenomenal hosts. The Bed and room were extremely comfortable, but it was the small details for me! We were welcomed with a glass of wine some cheese and fruits (I mean thats the key to my heart so we were already on the right track) - the sunroom was loaded with beverages for the duration of our stay. The room had snacks waiting for us. Shannon made sure we were set with places to go for our trip and was easily accessible if we had any questions. 7:30AM you are greeted with a coffee tray at your door and then the breakfast itself deserved another 5 stars. We will be coming back!!

My fiance and I stayed here while in town for a wedding. It is a beautiful historic house. Rooms were cozy. We appreciated that they had a television in room and bathroom was modernized with heated floors and nice shower while still keeping the old world charm. Breakfast was delicious. Coffee, water and snacks were available at all times in the common areas. Hosts were very kind and inviting. Would definitely recommend!

I stayed at the cottage of south court inn for an extended 11 night stay & let me tell you, it was UNMATCHED. I am from the UK and have stayed at hundreds of hotels and b&b’s across the U.S.

THIS WAS MY FAVOURITE. A home away from home, beautiful town, amazing kitchen with such a spacious living space and the upstairs is to die for.
I cannot recommend South Court Inn enough.

South Court Inn, a revived Victorian manse nestled in Luray, Virginia, is a delightful alternative to cookie-cutter hotels with impersonal service. The young proprietors, Joe and Shannon (both military vets), provide guests with a memorable experience. The light-filled, spacious rooms are furnished with Victorian-era pieces as well as modern comforts. Bathrooms and linens are pristine. If nothing else, Shannon's gourmet breakfasts and afternoon homemade treats justify a stay at South Court Inn next time you visit Virginia's Shenandoah.

Me and my boyfriend recently stayed at the South Court Cottage, it was an awesome experience! Everything about that cottage was perfect! The attention to detail was amazing, everything was spotless and as cozy as can be. I would highly recommend this to any couple that is looking for a perfect cottage get away!
Also, Shannon and Joe were amazing hosts. They were so welcoming and went above and beyond our expectations. I look forward to staying here again!
