No! No! I do not recommend this travel agency.

This company is very unprofessional! We ( group of 7 adults and five children) and have paid extremely high price $5000 + 2000+ air ticket per person for a private small group 10 day Italian tour but we only received service as the regular bus tour.

Sonic tour sold our groups to a Mainland China tour company, then the China agent sold us to Italy local Chinese bus tour company.

1. Hotel: We were promised to stay at least 4 star hotel but only received 2 star hotels for . One hotel was dirty and outdated, the shower water couldn't drain properly, and bathroom door wouldn't close at all.

2. Food: Most dinners were pre-purchased in our package, we were promised to have authentic Italian food, but the food were ranged from mediocre to bad, with at least five dinners were very bad. One Italian restaurant we were put in didn't even have one single Italian ( from chef to staff to customers)in it. By the last night of the trip I got food poison from the trip.

3. Customer service: No service was provided by Sonic at all. We signed the contract with Sonic tour and made payments in full before the trip. But when we made complains, the owner Jenny pushed us to the Mainland China company which we don't have direct business with. She promised to issue us refund for one meal we have cancelled in advance, however we are still waiting for the refund after six weeks after our return from trip.

Conclusion: I am going to repot to FTC, let them deal with them direct. I truly not recommend Sonic Tour.

Friendly and knowledgeable travel agents. However, they like to put down their competitors in an unfair way. e.g. One of the agents commented Gate 1 Travel is U.S.'s ,"poor men's travel company". There are people flying business class but more people flying economy. Are all those flying economy "poor"? I'm not their customer yet, probably won't be.

A good friend of mine is in travel industry recommended me Sonic Tour to see the northern light in Alaska (Northern light is on my bucket list). I valued her recommendation because I figured since she’s in the travel industry herself, she knows what she’s talking about.
The tour was in September (prime time to see the northern light) 2021. Arrived in Anchorage, took the glass dome train (it was the last glass dome train for the season – due to winter season) to Fairbanks. Day times we went to see Ice Museum and soaked in the hot springs. At night times we went chasing the northern lights (11pm – 1am is the prime time). Seeing the northern lights was a “wow” experience – I have tons of photos to proof!
Itinerary was packed. Hotels and other accommodations were top class.
In my 20s I was all about price shopping for the cheapest price. Now I’ve come to realize it’s all relative – you get what you pay for. The tour price is not the cheapest in the market because it offered higher class accommodations. I have price compared with higher-end travel companies, Sonic’s price is about 10%-20% cheaper. Just make sure to compare apple-to-apple when you do price shopping.

I’ve always wanted to go to Alaska, but had no idea where to go. We went to Sonic Tour since it was recommended to us by a friend. They were so helpful and professional! They helped us book tours because we wanted to see the nothern lights and they delivered on every promise! It was a great experience and they were very knowledgeable, and helped us navigate despite all the COVID restrictions.

I would highly recommend this travel agency. The service is amazing!!

They booked my family cruise trip in a completely different destination by mistake. Didn't notice the mistake till a few days later, had to eat a penalty cost just to cancel the booking. I suggest to go elsewhere.

It's a great Travel Agent company especially in selling Taiwan Package. The staffs is always smiling and great hospitality to everyone. I recommend you to walk in and buy the package and go to Taiwan.
