WOW EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY!!!! My husband and I are so happy with our stay at Somerset House. Really the pictures don’t do it justice because this place is absolutely beautiful! The beds were so clean and comfortable, the rooms were so nice and clean! They did an outstanding job on decorating the house and it feels like you have stepped in the early times.. Looks like the house has lots of history and it’s so gorgeous! The library and fireplaces throughout the house was my favorite part! The breakfast in the morning was delicious.. The customer service? Wow!! Amazing!! They made us feel like we were truly home! The Southern hospitality here is real and we loved it!! Thank you so so much and we will definitely be coming back!!

I stayed for one night and enjoyed every minute of it.
It was a perfect rest stop after a long day of exhausting myself on my motorcycle. Upon arrival, chatting on the porch with a kindly offered muffin and Coke was the first time I managed to unwind in days... it's the kind of place that encourages one to slow down a bit, and for me that was a good thing.
The home is clean and comfortable and the host, Tena is down to earth and gracious in every way.
I have no doubt that this is the best place to stay if you are in the area.
Also, if you're gay, this place is friendly. Indeed, I'm confident to say, whomever you are, as long as Tena is there that this place is friendly and you will be well cared for.
