I booked the Ultimate Northern lights package that included Dog Sledding, Snowmobile Excursion, and an overnight stay at their really nice cabins up in the mountains!
All the activities and amenities included was extremely worth the price! I had so much fun with the dogs. The Snowmobiling was exciting and very thrilling. I did 2 trips, one in the evening and the other in the sunrise. Both are unique and the trails you do won't be the same since there is so many trails!

We booked our trip with them online. The process was easy. When we got to Alaska we realized the next day would be better for us so I called to see if we could switch to the next day. It was no problem. The check in process was easy and they outfitted us with the snow suits, gloves and helmets. Still you need to dress warm, in layers underneath. The instructions were great for newbies to make sure everyone knew how to use the snow machines. The tour was great as was our tour guide! We booked the three hour trip, and that was plenty as it was soooo cold! (Not super cold for Alaska but cold if you’re not used to it) Bring hand warmers and wear appropriate clothes or you will suffer. Great experience would do again. We did not do the dog sledding but people seemed to have enjoyed it.

The dogsled tour was fantastic! We really enjoyed learning about the dogs and the Iditarod and of course going for a ride! There was a good amount of time to play with the dogs and puppies. Our guide, Matt, was very friendly and educational. Would highly recommend this tour!!

We did a Dog Sled and Snowmachine combo tour. Everything was great with Snowhook Adventures , from start to finish. We brought what we thought would be sufficient gear but ended up not needing any of it. They have all the gear on sight and available and I stayed warm all day. The guides for both adventures were amazing. Highly recommended! I will definitely be going to Snowhook Adventures again before I leave Alaska this spring.

They have over 1k reviews at 5 stars for a reason! We had an incredible time - it was better than we imagined. We did the Snow Machine & Dog Sled Combo. Looking forward to coming up and doing their summer adventures when we visit Alaska next. Our tour guides, patty for the snow machines and Ashley for the dog sledding, were AMAZING! Thanks SAGA for the being the highlight of our vacation!

This adventure was amazing! A true Alaskan experience! Our guide was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the sport, Alaska in general and of course the dogs! She explained the history behind the sport, showed us the sled and the route for the big race and answered every question we had about all of it. Then we got to meet the dogs, see how they are harnessed into a lead and she explained how they put a team together and what goes into preparing for a run. The dogs were incredibly sweet and you could tell how well cared for they were.

All in all this was an amazing experience and I would absolutely recommend it to everyone looking for a true Alaskan adventure!

Patty and Matt were amazing!! i enjoyed every minute of our dog sledding and snowmobile tour! we will be back! all of the dogs are super sweet and talented! you can tell everyone here loves what they do and make sure everyone has a great time!

Hands down recommend. If you are a dog lover and are in Anchorage this is it. The staff were super cool, chill and friendly. The best part was just hanging out with the dogs. Arctic dogs are bad ass. Lindsey and Robin were our guides. Super chill! Titus greeted us and was super helpful and welcoming. My friends and I had such a good experience. Can’t wait to see the puppies all grown up and doing their thing. Till next time guys!
