The Smith House Inn is absolute perfection! From the gourmet breakfasts, to the beautifully appointed bedrooms, to the gorgeous decor, everything was incredible. But beyond that, Amber went out of her way to accommodate the needs of my family for the three nights we stayed there. We had such a lovely time! Thank you a million. ❤️

We stayed here with 2 other couples for several days to bike a segment of the GAP trail, and visit other local points of interest ( Flight 93 memorial, and Ohiopyle). The location was perfect for accessing the GAP trail and our hosts were delightful. Our rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious (and filling for biking). We took advantage of the large porch to relax after biking. Many of the restaurants within walking distance were closed this time of year, but both places we went to were excellent. NOTE: one cautionary note, which is also on the website, the Sterner Room only has a tub with a hand held shower, that must be used while sitting. This is not the ideal setup for most people. Fortunately, after 2 nights, we were able to move to another room that had a full shower for the remaining 2 nights.

Amber was very easy to work with and has an absolutely beautiful home. We had access to our room as promised and found the home to be very nice with all the amenities we could ask for. Water cooler, ice maker, snacks, cool beverages and a delicious home cooked breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. We were riding the GAP and will defiantly be back an recommend to others looking for a great place to stay!

Three friends and I stayed here to enjoy the bicycling and nearby attractions—Flight 93 Memorial, Fallingwater, Laurel Caverns, etc.—and absolutely loved staying at Smith House. It’s comfortable and cozy with a fireplace and big front porch with rocking chairs; the breakfasts were what i would describe as gourmet!!

This is a very Beautiful bed and breakfast! The bed was very comfortable with super perfect pillows. |The bathroom is so cute and the shower was amazing!|The gorgeous porch was just delightful to sit and relax after a day of biking. |Great bike pump to use and great bike accommodations in the garage. |Everything is so clean and comfortable. |There are generous snacks to eat there or to take along on our bike trip to the next destination. |Kathy is very welcoming and kind. | The cook from Mitch’s made a delicious and nutritious breakfast which gave us energy to last all morning. |We would highly recommend this as a place to stay as you are bike riding the GAP or just traveling in the area.

Comfortable, quiet, and quaint inn within walking distance of everything in Confluence. Very hospitable for bike trail riders with facilities for bike storage. The bed was comfortable and had my own bathroom. The owner made one of the best hot breakfasts I've ever had in an inn right at the time of my choosing in the morning.

The Smith House Inn was a wonderful experience. Great breakfasts, spotless, great decor, and comfy bed. The owner is gracious and helpful. The area was lovely. We found our inn on the Fallingwater web site and are glad we did. All aspects exceeded expectations.

Very comfortable beds with a choice of pillow thickness made for a good night’s sleep. The deep bath was also enjoyed after a cold wet day on the GSP trail. Lots of extras - snacks, fruit, hot drinks etc., and kind friendly staff. An excellent choice on the GAP trail and one we would definitely recommend.
