The food was delicious! They are very accommodating with food requests. They have a dog friendly patio. If you buy a pizza slice, know that it is more like 2 slices in one. The crust is super tasty?

Went early on a Friday afternoon and sat at the bar, mistake. There were some obvious regulars at the bar drinking and cursing loudly. It had the feel of a sleazy dive bar. I’m not a prude but it was uncalled for. The bartender knew them and chimed in. Not a place for kids.
The cocktails were good. The tater tots were just ok, pricey for 6 tots. The pizza was good, the gentleman cooking knew how to handle the dough.
May or may not go back but definitely won’t sit with “the regulars” again.

Attempting to eat every slice because this pizza is so dang good. I asked my server, Emma, what her favorite was, and she recommended “The Wing and a Prayer.” By golly, I cannot stop going back! The drinks are great and fairly priced (especially the Outlaw), and the service is immaculate! Emma seems to have multiple tables throughout the store, keeping a steady pace, and my drinks full! I’ll be asking for her every time.

I was excited to try Slice after they won an award. We stopped for lunch on a lovely day and sat outside. It was confusing where we were supposed to go, since their name is on two buildings. The server was friendly and very busy, so we seated ourselves and she brought us menus after we had found the menu online.

We ordered one basic salad, one margherita pie, and two slices - one pepperoni and one Old School (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and red onions).

The salad was fantastic. 5/5, would go back just for the salad.

The slices and pizza were OK- 3.5/5 for me. The sauce was very sweet on the margherita and almost nonexistent on the pepperoni or Old School. They use cornmeal on the bottom of the crust, and there was a lot of cornmeal. Given how incredibly thin yet soft the crust was, the amount of cornmeal was detracting to me, both in flavor and texture.

I would make a special trip for the salad but not for the pizza.

Stopped by for lunch on the way through town. I'm always up for trying new pizza and I do enjoy being able to order a couple slices. The layout is confusing for a first timer but I think it's cool. Once I figured it where to order I settled on the Pesto slice and a Caesar salad. Salad was fresh and the slice was good. It was not busy so the service was good around 1pm. I will be in town for work so I will try some more.

We stopped by on a night where 3 of the employees called off. We appreciated the up up front warning.
This location is interesting due to the set up. We arrived in a building with just tables, it was pretty subdued. We ended up noticing that the actual kitchen, bar and outside seating was out the back door and across the parking lot. We decided to eat outside. The outside seating was nice and had heaters.
Service was not prompt, but we had been warned, yet both employees working were friendly and were working hard. Thank you!
The Wedge salad was completely covered in a Green Goddess dressing and with the crispy chunks of bacon it was so good. I had the LakeView pizza and it did not disappoint. I think next time I will ask for extra horseradish cream because it was tasty. My husband ordered the Old School and ate all but one slice, he was in heaven.
Cocktails- my husband ordered a drink and was happy to find they carried Hendricks.
Overall the set up is odd, but the food was delicious. I appreciate that the employees worked hard despite the circumstances.

I go to Slice Pizza in Birmingham often and order the house salad. This location forwarned us about being out of normal chicken breast and I agreed to the shredded chicken they put on the pizzas. It was horrible. They put no tomatoes in my salad, and the chicken had a pretty funky taste.

Service was decent. Our waitress was nice. They didn't offer to make it right on our check. I was there for mother's day with my mom who drove from Montgomery and I from Birmingham thinking I was taking her to a restaurant I normally love. Disappointed.

I get it's a college town, but even in college I wouldn't have gone back. Thanks anyways guys. May be a lack of solid management! Restaurant is physically attractive though. Nice outside eating area. Can't usually go wrong with pizza.
