1st room door chain not working, blind would not close and neither of us could sleep, no basin or bath plugs, filthy coffee machine we had to empty old coffee and wash the machine and again NO cups provided. There are overflowing trash bins all over the site which are smelly and not hygienic. The room was not serviced as advertised when we complained we were eventually moved to a room after a lot of negotiation. The second room door key would not work initially and had only 50% of the lights working, no rubbish bin in the room, no hairdryer, dirty fridge and again NO coffee cups YET still demanding full price be paid
The photos in the website must be YEARS old !
Under new management and it's not getting any better

After a 3 night stay I think this place deserves 5 stars for the effort the New Managent made to make our stay a pleasant one. My Fiancé and I took a last minute trip to Crestline and even though past few reviews were harsh, we decided to give it a chance. There is room for changes in the cabins, but after talking to a few locals, we found the New Management are already a positive improvement. I normally bring my own kitchen goods to use, so there was no lack in that area for myself. Apparently, the cleaning crew has not changed, so the issue with that is a result from the Previous Management. A Grocery store and Lake Gregory are a 4 minute walk away, so it's in a perfect location. Our cabin was a perfect size and my only suggestion.... NOT complaint ... is that when we DO go visit Sleepy Hollow again, we have a little more of a comfy sofa... other than that, we had a Great stay. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Went for Valentine's weekend and we're totally shocked on what we experienced. The managers Name was Adam. Was supercool on check in and informative. He let us know right away that the TV was not working properly because of the remote control. So he kindly discounted our first night. Also told us if we needed anything at all whether it be towels or whatever that he would take care of it. Well we quickly learned how cold the cabin was and outdated it was. We went to the office the next day and asked for more towels and a portable heater. His demeanor was totally different of that the night before. Needless to say everything he promised the night before went out the window. We had to buy an extra blanket and even a broom because of the floor having so much foot trash. Also no trash can or hand towels. The sofas were out dates and torn with the stuffing coming out. It was Gross. We bought Clorox wipes to wipe down these so called couches. I definitely don't recommend them or this property.

Unsafe and unsanitary living conditions. When we checked in our room blue jay Cabin was not cleaned yet so we waited while they “cleaned” it. We come to find out less than 12 hours in that there was a substantial amount of trash and RAT POOP behind the pull out bed, a ton of it. Then under bathroom and kitchen sinks was a soggy mold infested piece of wood holding a full pan of water partially catching the water. My husband demanded a refund which they promised to give us yet now they won’t at all answer the phone and they blocked his phone number. They gave us another room which was way cleaner but that initial experience with their lack of response (tried calling and visiting the front desk for hours) did not help our stress levels by that point. I had my small child crawling around on that ground also not knowing there was rat poop about a foot away tucked under the couch. People could get very sick from this!

This was our first time visiting and staying in Crestline. Overall it was an okay stay, however the pictures are bit misleading. It’s not really a group of cabins as you would imagine, it’s off a very busy road in the heart of town. Surrounded by asphalt and grouped very closely together. Everyone was nice enough however 90% of the people smoke cigarettes and that smoke blows into your “cabin”/ room and made our family very nauseous. There is some sketchy activity with some of the other people staying there and had my kids scared around 2-3 am that someone was trying to get in our window. Nothing happened however it’s just not something we’re use to. The cabin itself was fine, a bit dated but I knew that when looking at the pictures. The pool was green when we first got there but they had someone working on getting it fixed and we were able to swim on our last day. It’s very central to Lake Gregory and walking distance from Goodwin’s grocery which is a great store. I don’t think we’ll be staying there again just due to our personal preferences but if you need an affordable place to stay in Crestline for a day or two this isn’t the worst place you could go.

The perfect get-away! Friendly and professional ... wonderful location, walking distance to the lake and all stores, saloon, etc. I stayed for a week and enjoyed every single day.|The cabins are cozy and made me feel immediately back home. Traveled with my dog and that was no problem at all. Clean and relaxing pool and jaccuzzi area. THANK YOU for a great time!

Bruh I love it here but the managers choose their own hours like I tried to get another room this morning for the night before check out or before someone else books the room
And I called over 29 times in the last 3 hours and nothing, ridiculous, obserd, and need more attention, I can deal with the sketchiness of it but not the bs like cmon why do I have to practically beg you for your service
