We had a lovely two-night stay here Dec. 28-30, 2024, during the holiday week. We had one of the cottage-like rooms with a view out to the big red rocks across the West Sedona valley, high up above everything on the airport mesa, and spent a lot of time out on the nice deck gazing at the view, having lunch, coffee, or cocktails. We loved the faux fireplace and the kitchenette (sink, microwave, fridge, plates, silverware, cupware) and the nice modern shower and bathroom. All of it very clean and well-presented. We were not crazy about the king-sized mattress as we found it too soft, that was our one moderate dissatisfaction with the place. Otherwise, great friendly service from the front desk and property staff. They offer coffee capsules in the room but also coffee and water in the front office. There's a super-cool Airstream on site transformed into a breakfast food truck and an outdoor bar later in the day. You can get a good breakfast bagel there for $8, which is about what it would cost (or less) anywhere else in Sedona. Handy access to a couple trails just across the street, including a short-ish one that takes you to the scenic airport vortex. At the base of Airport road the neighborhood has a Starbucks and a Whole Foods (a good alternate for dining carry-out to save a few $$$ and hassle of driving around crowded central Sedona). Keep in mind traffic going up Airport Road near sunset time gets dense, just be patient. The Sky Lodge complex has numerous room options, not all with a view, check on that first. But all in all, a quiet and lovely place to stay out of the fray in Sedona.

Amazing location and views! Quiet area, great grounds. Loved the rooms. Comfortable beds, kitchenette and fireplace were fabulous. Stayed here with my husband and 2 adult sons. Plenty of space in the rooms. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We spend a lot of the year in hotels and are very picky with where we stay. I would definitely return here every time I’m in Sedona and highly recommend it to others.

Great location! Beautiful property. The rooms are clean and large. Our only issue is that the walls and ceilings are paper thin. If you stay in the back of the property, the two story accommodations, you need to stay upstairs. I slept maybe 45 minutes to an hour all night. I could hear every footstep, every creak of the bed, water running, toilet flushes. It was constant, all night. I don't blame the people above. It's just a bad design or very old building. I recommend staying upstairs or in one of the single level bungalows. The free van service is fantastic. Larry is the MVP (Most Valuable Paison)! We would stay again.

Great stay with quiet rooms thanks to the private cabin-style setup. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The only downside is having to go to the lobby for ice, but they give you a large bag, so it works out. The location is excellent, close to the Airport Mesa spot for sunset or sunrise. You can walk there in about 15 minutes and save on parking fees. The pool and hot tub aren’t huge but are well-designed and enjoyable. Parking right in front of the room is a big plus. Would definitely stay here again.

The Sky Ranch Lodge is absolutely the best place to stay in Sedona. The location is perfect doesn't feel crowded and has hands down the best view!!! But the staff was by far the best part of our stay. We had so much fun stopping into the lobby and chatting with them. They were very helpful and professional. Larry the shuttle driver is so friendly and has such a charismatic personality! Rooms were very clean and comfortable! It really was a great stay! Thank you!

We had an amazing 3-night stay at Sky Lodge Ranch! The location is perfect—centrally located to all the hiking trails, which made planning our adventures so convenient. The highlight was the breathtaking sunset view right next to the hotel, a perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking. The coffee in the lobby was excellent, giving us the perfect start to our mornings. The overall atmosphere and amenities made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the area and enjoy a relaxing, nature-filled getaway!

Sky Ranch Lodge features incredible views of the Sedona Red Rocks and surrounding areas. There’s a wedding pavilion with an incredible panoramic view of the town and landscape. The grounds also double as a botanical garden, with a wide variety of plants and trees all with placards explaining what they are. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of order when we stayed, but no big deal.

The staff at the desk were super helpful and friendly, with good suggestions for local activities. The lobby has fresh coffee and cookies in the morning. The rooms aren’t anything special but they were clean and a comfortable landing spot after a long day in Sedona.

From check in to departure, the staff was so helpful. The room was cozy, bed was super comfortable, coffee and cookies were great! Great area to sit and enjoy the view. Would recommend and stay here again!
