Was disappointed, as the pics that are showing on the app, do not show the small rooms over the store, they show the beautiful newer condos. We stayed in room#2, over the store. Room was clean and cute. Probably about 10’ x 12’ in size. |Balcony is positioned over the air conditioning units, that go on and off 24 hrs a day. Making it quite noisy to spend time on the balcony. Since the room does not have air conditioning, we needed the windows open all night and it was very noisy listening to the air conditioning unit. At 5am the postal truck pulls up right next door to load his deliveries for the day, really loud. This cost us $157. Hmmm|I told the woman in the store and she didn’t seem to care, and she had no offering for a solution. She said “maybe next time”, we could stay in the new units. There will not be a next time. LOL

My wife and I enjoyed our 3 day stay in condo #2 immensely. The couches were super comfy and supplied with matching pillows. The water pressure was great--in contrast to so many places where the water flow is reduced to little more than a trickle. The view of the Columbia River and the nearby residences was just fabulous. We enjoyed watching ships, barges and even a paddle wheel excursion vessel go by on the river. The large-screen TV boasted hundreds of channels, and the WiFi was "blazing fast." The kitchen was very well appointed. There was even a tiny laundry room for washing clothes and towels. The place was squeaky clean and smelled fresh. Most of all, the personnel, Shannon and Chris, bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. The owners have done a great job of restoring and maintaining the late 1800s buildings. We will be looking for good excuses to return!

The park host is helpful and always available. When we had issues with our trailer, he provided assistance and was thoughtful. The entire staff is excellent and the grounds are well maintained. The hiking trail, that runs along the river, is well maintained with gorgeous scenic views of the Colombia River through the trees. Beach access is available in several places.

I stayed 4 nights in a room above the general store. 3-star hotel room amenities, but immaculately clean, which is why I rate this 4 stars. Be advised, there are no elevators or interior staircase, so you need to climb wooden steps to get to your room. No coffee maker in the rooms; bring your own. There is a small refrigerator, though. The Resort has its own dock and a gazebo right off the back. Lovely views of the Columbia River shipping channel and Steamboat Slough. I would definitely stay here again.

A friend and I shared a 3 bedroom condo. There was a full bathroom to be shared by the 2 master size bedrooms on the upper floor. There was a 1/2 bathroom on the main floor. Very comfortable. Full kitchen, washer and dryer.|The location is beautiful with open river views. The hotel part, next door has a dock. No meals served in the hotel, but there is a restaurant/bar a short walk away.

My husband and I spent two nights here in early September in order to do some paddling on the lower Columbia River. We had the upstairs motel room with a balcony/river view. It was peaceful and very convenient. The room was small but well appointed and comfortable. We were able to watch the sunset and launched our boats from the dock. We walked to the Duck in for dinner on their outdoor deck but brought our own food for lunch and breakfast ( refrigerator in room). Would love to make another trip in the fall for more paddling. It's a very quiet area and saw only one other party in one of the condos while we were there so felt safe re covid.

Fantastic stay at the resort- an incredible location, wonderful and accommodating staff. Stayed during one of the largest snow events in a few years : the staff kept all walkways shoveled and well kept. Room was warm clean and cozy. The general store is great meeting point in town. Location on the river really phenomena. Gives the namesake “little Venice”. I have no complaints about my stay and would certainly return if I had the chance in the future!

If you are staying in one of the motel rooms, bring your own coffee pot! No in room coffee, and we were told we could get coffee in the store, but realized when I went to the store in the morning that they do not open the store until 10. There is no place close to get coffee unless you want to go to the restaurant close by. Our TV dish must have been out, we could not get the TV to work and it was after the store had closed. Could not get a hold of anyone via phone to see if they could fix the issue. It's super cute, clean, and bed was comfy. We had room #2 with a balcony. I would stay here again, but would bring my own coffee pot and make sure TV worked before the store closes so we can get a hold of someone if it doesn't. If not for these two issues I would have given them 5 stars. Very reasonably priced! Only $109 with tax for balcony room.
