My husband and I had the most wonderful and relaxing two-night stay at Skamania Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the beauty of the forest and the soothing sounds of the nearby creek. The trails around the property are absolutely stunning—perfect for peaceful walks and quiet moments of exploration.

We especially loved the outdoor spa, which was an absolute dream in the rainy weather. There's something magical about soaking in warm water while the rain falls around you. The indoor amenities are just as lovely—the pool is spacious and serene, and there are indoor hot tubs along with men’s and women’s saunas and separate hot tubs for each.

I treated myself to a facial during our stay, and it was absolute perfection—truly one of the best spa experiences I've had.

Our room was cozy and inviting, with breathtaking river and mountain views. The in-room fireplace added an extra layer of comfort and charm, making it the perfect place to unwind at the end of each day.

Skamania Lodge is a true gem, and we can’t wait to come back!

Such a great place to stay and they have lots of options for different accommodations. The spa is fantastic! There's lots to do or a great view to sit and do nothing. Tried Easter brunch today and weren't overwhelmed, especially for the price. Worth a stop, maybe skip the brunch.

The beds were comfortable! That is rare when traveling anymore. We stayed in the Villa and really enjoyed it. We could watch the zipliners from the deck as they were just feet away. We had 6 adults, and it was spacious enough for all of us. It was our first time staying at Skamania Lodge. We will be back.

Our family was seeking a 2-night relaxing vacation close to home (we live in Portland). We loved the pool, zip lining, the hiking trails on property, and the family-friendly golf courses. As much as we wanted to explore the PCT trails in the area, we were having so much fun at the resort, that we decided to just hang around there.

The hotel is lovely and the view overlooking the Columbia is gorgeous. I always wanted to stay there. The lobby has many seating options and is great for lounging or playing cards with a stellar view and cosy vibe.

Unfortunately, they were renovating their pool and hot tub, so we didn't have access to any of their amenities without booking expensive spa services.

The rooms are mostly comfortable, and I highly recommend springing for the river view. It's worth it. The food and drinks on-site were disappointing, especially for the price. I recommend venturing into Stevenson or elsewhere for dining.

There's hiking on the property, which is nice. And they offer good options for nearby adventures and waterfalls.

Overall, we had a great stay. I would definitely come again, but am glad to know what to bring/avoid in the future.

Since 1990, we’ve stayed several time at Skamania for conferences for work, or pleasurable stays for anniversaries. This was our 6th stay, and we loved it. Had a gorgeous room with a fantastic view; a gift for our 41st wedding anniversary from our daughter! The only thing we missed was the outdoor jacuzzi, currently under renovation. Excellent food, service, staff; comfortable beds, GREAT VIEWS of the Columbia River Gorge and/or the forest! Storm-watching is unparalleled in the winter.

This resort is nestled by the Columbia River and is fit for all outdoor enthusiasts. So many hiking trails nearby, water adventures, disc golf. The resort itself is quiet and complete with a spa, restaurants, pool/hot tub, workout room. You don't even have to leave the resort-if you don't want to. Make s'mores after dinner or sit by the fire. It's so peacefully perfect!

I really love coming here both in winter and summer. I usually come here for work events and the staff and amenities are wonderful.

The Rooms are very cozy and definitely a lodge feel. The beds and sheets are so soft and each room comes with a robe. There are mini fridges and coffee machines in all rooms. If you want a microwave, you can request it and have it sent to your room.

There’s plenty to do here for the whole family! Scavenger hunts for the lodge are located in the lobby as well as bored games for rent.

My favorite part of the hotel is the main lounge area that has a big view window of the gorge. Also the pool and hot tub areas are so amazing. I can’t wait until they finish the upgrades this spring 2025.

Shoutout to the front desk staff for always being friendly and welcoming!

Can’t wait until my next trip!
