I left a detailed message regarding the trip I would like to book however I never received a call back from anyone and it has been over a week.
I had used Silver Star many times in the past and had always received excellent customer service.
I find it very unfortunate that no one had the time for me, I would have respected you if someone had called me to say they are very busy and may take a week or more to get back with me.

I don't typically write reviews lately because they all seem to be false or written by the "competition ".
I was compelled to write this one because of the negative reviews.

I have been working with Dawn for many years. She always listens to what I want and works very hard to make sure we get it! I am very picky about flights and sometimes, ok most of the time I end up changing my hotel or resort at the last minute.
Dawn never makes me feel like a jerk for wanting to make the changes and is always accommodating.
If there is ever a glitch, I guess I travel frequently enough to know that with all of the people and businesses that are involved when booking travel, it can happen and Dawn, even though not at fault goes above and beyond to fix the situation.

I can recall clearly receiving a huge amount of help after missing my cruise ship (weather issues) and I had to make alternative flight and hotel arrangements in the middle of the night on a weekend only to find on Monday when I reached my beautiful Caribbean Island that they were not expecting me! I immediately called Silver Star...even though Dawn didn't book this, she somehow fixed it!

To sum up this lengthy review, Silver Star has been wonderful to work with for years. Everyone I have referred to Dawn has been completely satisfied and has continued to use her services.
I would highly recommend using them for all of your travel needs.

Pam at Silver Star helped us book our vacation for our son and his friends. All in all there were 8 separate reservations and 4 rooms. Doing it myself on the internet vs. going through Silver Star was the same, but with the added benefit of I actually have a live, local person helping. At least give them a call next time you are booking a trip. You can always compare the price difference. In my case, there was none, only added convenience.

My wife and I went on our Honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen and we didn’t want to book online and end up hating our hotel. So we met with the ladies at Silver Star and all three endured about two hours of questions while we struggled to pick the place. Dawn at Silver Star travel has been an amazing travel agent for several years now. She covers every single detail. My husband is disabled and has many health conditions and she goes out of her way to make sure that we can have a comfortable and enjoyable worry free vacation everytime. Cruise or Land. On top of that she is great at finding better then internet pricing with a human contact for all the details. She takes care of everything.
