I only rode at this barn for a short time due to a health issue I was having and am still dealing with. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was dealing with pretty bad iron deficiency, which caused all sorts of symptoms that affected my riding capacity (chronic fatigue, weakness, anxiety, headaches, etc etc). Colleen and her teaching assistants were always patient and understanding when I had to take frequent breaks or finish early. I got to ride some high quality show horses while I was there, and I really enjoyed my time at this barn despite not being at my best physically. All the people I met were very kind, and the atmosphere very positive. Colleen’s teaching was detail oriented which I appreciate, because the small things can make a big difference in riding. It makes sense why her barn is so successful! I also love that she has both an indoor and outdoor ring for any kind of weather. Her facility is beautiful and relaxing — highly recommend! Silver Fox Farms is an amazing place to ride! The facility is beautiful – buried in the woods with a huge outdoor ring and a lighted and covered indoor. The barn is clean and well-kept, and all the horses are healthy, shiny, and very well cared for.

The trainer, Colleen, is incredible. She brings her personal touch and attention to every aspect of her program. Just take one lesson with Colleen, and I promise you will never look back. There is nothing like Silver Fox Farms. It is truly one of a kind.
