My mom was in Swedish First Hill hospital for what ended up being over a week. But we weren’t sure her prognosis so we had to make reservations one day at a time, making the logistics complicated. However, the staff at Silver Cloud Broadway Seattle hotel were amazing and so helpful during this difficult time. Every single person at the reception desk has been friendly and so helpful, the rooms were immaculate, and beds are super comfortable. Rizza in particular helped us get into a new room early so we could just transfer our belongings without checking out and back in again when things were at our most stressful time. Highly recommend staying at Silver Cloud!!

Great location. Love the Whole Foods across the street & the ihop. Staff was very friendly. All great interactions. Love the view from my room. I had a concern that turned out to be nothing about the room, the maintenance man came up right away. The maids were quick & efficient. Jimmy’s was excellent. Just the best staff working there, i never met a hotel staff so awesome before. I never had a sink before in my hotel room that was a nice plus. Fridge and microwave were a tad small but that’s okay it did it’s job. The washer & dryer on the floor was genius!! It was pleasant to wash my clothes while on my stay without having to pay for a laundromat.
The some minor complaints was needing to paying for the parking when it’s their own parking space. I do prefer when hotels can have a swimming pool & free breakfast in the morning (the free gym was nice though!). But eh no big deal, wasn’t offered..it wasn’t offered that’s all.
My biggest and really only complaint that if I had to change anything was the sheets the sheets kept popping off all night. I never saw sheets pop off a hotel bed before. All night long I was wrestling the sheets. I couldn’t even get the sheets to tuck right. It was like shoving a queen bed inside a twin sheet. And I thought it was odd that the bathroom had one grab bar right outside the tub but not inside (not blaming the hotel at all because they did ask me if I need any access accommodations and I said no assuming there would be at least grab bars in the bathroom so I was offered very nicely by the staff) again just something I never saw a hotel do before.
If I was to visit again I can picture myself staying here.

I enjoyed my stay here. We have one of these in Portland, OR, and I had heard good things about this chain. I was traveling alone and felt safe here. The facility is very clean and attended to. I liked the availability of the on-site restaurant called Jimmy's. The only opportunity for improvement would be less costly parking fees. It's a little tricky to find how to pull into the registration area due to bike lanes and the traffic cone things.

Great hotel. Rooms would have been a 4 star as bathrooms and bedrooms are slightly dated but they have begun remodeling the rooms. Front desk customer service is awesome and always friendly. I like that they go the extra mile and remembered who I was when I’d check in. The only real downfall….location being in Seattle and no pool. Other than that….definitely recommend

Overall, I had a great stay. The location is unbeatable, with the SU campus next door, many restaurants nearby, a grocery store across the street, and the hospital. I especially loved the option to park in their large and secured parking garage. The staff during check-in and check-out were fantastic; however, the staff I encountered during my stay were not as welcoming. Despite this, I found the room rate to be reasonable considering the prime location. At the time of my stay (12/2024), the security deposit was $100.00, while parking for two nights cost $100.00, including tax. All in all, I felt that the amenities and location made up for the minor issues with staff, and I will certainly stay here again.

Beautiful and modern rooms. The bed and pillows were very comfortable!
Loved having the in-room jacuzzi!
All the water pressure in the shower and sinks was great and the water wasn't too hard or soft.
All the staff were helpful and friendly.

The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I think it is ridiculous to make a guest pay additionally to park their vehicle on-site.

Love staying at the Silvercloud on Broadway. It’s very convenient to our offices and all the fun stuff happening in Capitol Hill. Staff is very sweet including Michelle who remembers me from my previous visits!

Well located, across Madison from SU. The rooms are comfortable, well-cared for, and the desk staff are great. Room service is friendly and prompt. The food from Jimmy’s downstairs is good, if a hair pricey to be delivered as room service. I rested well, there. However, it gets quite active and noisy in SU family weekends.
