The rooms are a little dated but were charming. May have been haunted, our TV wouldn't turn off unless you unplugged it and the toilet flush by itself during the night. Nice water front views and outdoor seating. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Absolutely the best place to stay, in Anacortes. We stayed here for 3 nights, and LOVED THIS PLACE. The photos online do not do it justice. It is breathtaking! Clean, quiet, and very affordable. The breakfast room had waffles, a great selection of bagels, english muffins, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, and donuts, etc. There was milk and orange juice daily, along with coffee and tea. It was very well tended to. No paper plates, but real dishes, and silverware. It was very quiet, with a great view of the sound and ferry terminal, surrounded by trees. The overall grounds were so pretty, adorned with chairs and birdhouses. The rooms were extremely clean, and well stocked with towels. The staff were very accommodating,and friendly. We will definitely be going back again!

Worst night sleep of my life! My husband and I were really looking forward to staying here as it looked so peaceful and quaint. I am pregnant so this was a little getaway for us. Unfortunately, the neighbors next to us were throwing a birthday party. Loud music, yelling off the back deck, smoking and slamming doors. We had to call the front desk and after hours number MANY times before anyone would answer. When you did reach someone they said they would have to speak to the manager. This went on from 8pm till 1am. Upon check out we expressed our agitation and the woman just shrugged and said she would have to talk to the manager. I hope this review at least reaches the manager.

Absolutely loved my stay here. Such beautiful views and a lovely jacuzzi in room. So fun to watch the ships glide by. I just got my Merchant Mariner Credential (Sailor) and this stay was a graduation gift to me from a friend.
It feels very private, secluded, and relaxing.

We’ve stayed at the ship harbor inn twice and have enjoyed the location, rooms and their patio. We’ve stayed in both a dog and non dog room. Both were comfortable, have kitchenettes that make our stay more convenient and have a view of the sound. These rooms aren’t elegant but very quaint.

What I expected. I expected an old motel and old cottages, I figured it would be outdated and worn. I was ok with that as I needed an affordable place to get away. However the moment I turned in the driveway and I saw the beautiful well kept property, that looks very park like and inviting I knew I was wrong. The cabin that I rented was perfect. I had opted for the smaller cabin up on the hill and it did not disappoint. There's plenty of room to walk the dog and inside the cabin as I opened the door I found a well kept and modernized room. Not overly modern, but newer flooring, newer carpet, very nice and comfortable bed. The view from the picture window cannot be beat. I thought about driving around during the day but decided to stay in, instead. The cabin is way to enjoyable and good to leave for the day. Watching the ferry boats pull in and out and just decompressing. Anytime I need something to eat I just walk into the kitchen and cook something up. I have stayed at 100's if not maybe 1000's of places from luxury hotels to small motels, and cabin accomidations. I'm telling you this is one of the best overall and for piece and quiet and tranquility it cannot be beat. There is honestly only one other that might be some competition, I just love it here! I will be back for sure!||||In the kitchen you will find the pots and pans to be just a little bit mismatched, but there is enough stuff there to cook whatever you want. This is the smaller cabin and there is a small table for 2 and place settings for 2. 2 plates and 2 bowls. Plenty more cups and coffee mugs, which reminds me there is even a Keurig in the room!. There is no dishwasher in the kitchen and unfortunately they only provide a sponge for dish washing, personally I'd prefer a wash towel, but that's just personal preferance and that's alright. ||||Towels. 3 bath towel, 2 hand towels, 2 wash cloths. I honestly have no idea if they do daily maid service I left the do not disturb sign out and there have been plenty of towels for a few days. ||||There is planty of space in the bathroom, the water pressure and shower head hieght are just fine. ||||Complaints. I don't have any really. If I nitpick the temperature control for the room is a little funky but I figured that out pretty quickly and honestly it's no big deal. ||||I will also add that at night when the lights are on in the room there is plenty of light to see or read by, but after the lights are turned out it is dark. Very dark. Just right for sleeping in. ||||I'm currently trying to figure out how soon I can come back and if I want to book this cabin again or try one of the other ones.

I booked the King Suite with the jetted tub, room 4, and I was really looking forward to relaxing in a bath as I don’t have access to one regularly. After check-in, I was walking up to enter the room and a woman walked up to the door and opened it. I later learned she was the owner, and she was checking the room……even though I had already checked in.
The room was filthy, looked like the linens and garbage had been changed and that’s it. Food bits in the sink/microwave/fridge, a used kcup in the keurig, stains in the toilet, dirty floors, and the kicker: little hairs all up in the jets and bits all over the tub. It had clearly not been cleaned. I called the front desk who offered a room transfer or a refund, but the new room doesn’t have a jetted tub. I said fine, at least it has a tub and it will have been cleaned. The new room was #39, a 2-bedroom suite. I ate some food, then put the leftovers in the fridge, which was also dirty and had food bits. When I moved the shower curtain to turn the bath on, I found 2 crispy washcloths stuck to the top. This of course prompted me to look closer and I noticed that this tub was also covered in bits, hairs, and a glob of dried something on the tub floor. I was frustrated at this point so I just went to bed. The next morning I saw the rest of the room with the daylight and it was terrible. Sticky surfaces, crumbs all over the couch and recliner, food bits in the sink/on the stove, and the kitchen floor looks to have not been washed in some time. Also the television didn’t work. The lobby staff seemed apathetic, as if it were a common occurrence, and management offered only a partial refund. Would definitely not recommend this place.

I'm giving them a 3 star for poor customer service and questionable linens. The room was cute and nice, seemed really clean, but we found a mysterious reddish brownish substance on a hand towel and then on a pillow case...I think it was blood but I'm not sure. We had brought our own pillows and just discarded the hand towel on the floor. We checked all other linens and found nothing. We enjoyed the view and the space otherwise and the big jetted tub was lovely, it was also nice they were pet friendly. Upon checkout we went to visit family then headed home the two hour drive. Upon unpacking at home discovered we had forgotten some of my son's toys in the room. I called multiple days in a row and was told someone would check the lost and found and get back to me and they never did, then they just stopped answering the phone. I also emailed and never got a response back either.
