I've been struggling with dandruff for years, and after trying everything my primary care doctor recommended, the next step was to see a dermatologist. However, the wait to see a dermatologist through my normal office was more than 8 months. Dr. Miller was able to see me within a few weeks, diagnose the underlying cause, and help me treat my symptoms. She was efficient and very helpful with my questions!

She does still require masks. While some of the previous reviews mention frustration with this standard, it is clearly indicated on the first floor of the building.

Doctor Miller took the time to examine my son and give him an accurate diagnosis, when 3 other doctors failed to do so. She completely followed through to make sure that he got the treatment he needed and checked in on him several times while he was in patient in the hospital. She truly saved my son's vision and we are very grateful. By far the most professional and caring doctor we've had!

I was having multiple appointments with multiple different doctors to get their "expert" diagnosis into why I was having these blistering patches on my skin. Dr Miller was the only dare I say real doctor that cares enough about her patient to not only examine the issue, but to research and discover what all the other "professionals" in their field were overlooking. Unlike most doctors who seemingly try to dispense as many patients as possible, Dr Miller puts heedfulness into her work and keeps an extremely clean and sterile office to perform her job. Dr Miller sets the standard as to how a true professional in their field should operate. I highly recommend that anyone seeking a skin specialist should consult with Dr. Miller

Dr. Shirley Miller is so thorough with her examinations and takes her time never makes you feel like you are being rushed.made me feel so comfortable and she found out my problem The first time I saw her. I had been to the doctors three times and no one knew what was happening to me so I highly recommend her. She is very experienced in her profession will never go to another dermatologist ever !

My teenager had been battling with red, bumpy patch on his neck for the last 2 to 3 years. We tried OTC ointments and creams with no success. Two different pediatricians also prescribed treatments that were just as ineffective, and the borders of the unsightly patch continued to enlarge. When he started getting teased about it, it was time to bring in a real professional.

Dr. Miller performed a thorough examination, explained the two possible diagnoses, and recommended a conservative treatment. I appreciated that even though a biopsy would have earned her more from our insurance company, she stated that she wouldn't perform one unless we really wanted it since her treatment recommendation would be the same regardless.

She was so efficient that the cream she prescribed was ready for pickup at our local pharmacy by the time we got back into town. My son used it for less than a week, and now his skin is completely clear with absolutely no scarring or evidence that the patch had even been there at all.

Dr. Miller is a gem! I wish we had gone to her sooner, but we're certainly grateful to have found her when we did!

Dr. Miller knows what she’s doing. Her goal is to give you all the tools and knowledge you’ll need tackle whatever you’re dealing with. I dealt with an issue for 2 years that my previous dermatologist couldn’t figure out that Dr. Miller knew exactly the regiment to suggest! I 1000% recommend her to anyone living in or near Scotia that needs a dermatologist.

I arrive 2:10pm for a 2:15pm appointment. Dr. Miller asked us (myself and my 2 year old) to wait in the back waiting room down stairs. 20 minutes later she calls down a let the dental office receptionist that we can go up. At this point we already seen the doctor briefly, she waits till I get all the way up stairs to tell me she’s requiring my 2 year old to wear a mask. Something she could have said when we first seen her, before being told to go sit in the back. Now I go get her mask (as well as that would stay on because she is 2!!!) I get upstairs it’s now 245pm half hour later and she hand me paperwork. Paper work that should have been giving while I was waiting. This doctors response for the fact that she’s giving me the paper work now , was because my 2 year needed a mask and there’s signs posted everywhere. This doctor seemed to not wanna bother with us. Wasn’t sure of what level of care we would receive so I just told her she could cancel all our appointments. My boys had an appointment with her as well.
